Deck Description

This deck is an adaptation of Budget EDH: You Are Mine Now. by NorthernWarlord.

After playing EDH a little, I was inspired to try and build a fun deck to be mostly counterspells and taking control of your opponents stuff. The idea is mainly to protect yourself while waiting for something to target with Dragonlord Silumgar. Counter anything that looks dangerous and once you have Silumgar out, just protect him. Ashiok makes a nice separate win-con. Most of the non-budget cards are ones I already owned, but still pretty low budget.

Deck discussion for Control EDH: I'll take that.

I usually play GW with tokens and enchantments to beef them up but after I did 300 hex proof indestructible flying 300/300's my play group has been smothering me to death. I picked this up at pat's in Austin as a quick cheap revenge deck. Thanks for posting it!

Glad to hear you enjoyed it! I've only been able to play this once so far, but I had fun when I did. Looking forward to playing more now. :D
