Deck Description

This is a bit of a budget play on Tron, mixed in with some ideas for a land destruction deck I made a while back. With Mycosynth Lattice banned, the deck is somewhat weaker but it is updated to focus more on pacing your opponent / chipping away at their land rather than dropping a nuke like "Mycosynth Lattice + Vandalblast, Echoing Ruin, or Splinter"

The deck can be had for ~$160, which makes it cheap for Modern Competitive play.

Regarding kitchen table play, this is a fun deck for shutting down artifact heavy decks, or decks that rely heavily on a specific permanent based combo.

How to Play

As with most Tron decks, the chromatic cards are used for cycling through your deck, but the additional " mana of any color" allows you to play Green / Red cards when you're dry for green and red mana.

Liquimetal Coating and Myr Landshaper make your opponent vulnerable to artifact destruction early, and you can start deleting lands or other key permanents cheap and early. While this occurs, you are fishing for Karn, Memnarch, or Ulamog.

Karn combos well with Liquimetal and Myr Landshaper, in that you can shut down your opponents ability to use activated abilities. Memnarch can be used to steal your opponents artifacts (particularly the ones that you chose to make artifacts) and the chromatic cards can provide the mana needed to do so.

This should all pace the game in a way that you don't need a turn 3 or 4 win, because you're actively preventing your opponent from landing a turn 3 or 4 win. It ends up being a control deck focused on land / permanent destruction.
