Rakdos' Return is poopoo. You're better off putting in moar board control.And unless you've had unprecedented success with Ultimate price, I DESPISE that card. I think it's unusable in standard.

The early game is this deck's greatest weakness.Though, owing to your examples; IF you survive, you win.I didn't realize Trostani had that lovely heal ability as well as poopulate. Vurreh good.I suppose Selesnya Charm and Resto can get you through the early game.
I frown upon NivMizzet AND Thundermaw. I'd say pick one in a deck like this.Also, do your games last long enough that you get to USE Shadow Slice?It seems extremely costly.
Cavern of Souls x 4 in for one of your land types. That way your creature won't get Force of Will'd right out of the gate.

I love this design. Very much.I believe you could benefit from cutting the Cagebreakers down to 2, as they're rather high cost for an aggro-heavy meta. In their place, I recommend Thought Scour.

I'm extremely confident that Niv-Magus has a place in Legacy or Modern.I'm curious JUST how good he can become by coupling him with abilities such as Storm and tacking a Fling on him.This was an intriguing decklist indeed, as Kiln Fiend is another of my favorites.I DO, however, frown upon Tainted Strike.My buddies always tell me to stick to one singular type of damage. Shit takes up space otherwise :/
IF you REEEEALLY wanted to get Lady Luck's attention - you'd use Tibalt. His "plus" ability makes him unplayable. It's random as balls and probably not even worth it, if you DO pull something you want.
