Sorin planeswalker would be a good card to be there. I made a little bit differente vampire deck whith red and black colors. Check it! Didn't make it yet because the cards are very expensive, and your deck is kinda cheap. I think that vampire lacerator could make some problems, although is a cheap card for 2/2 can give you a lot of damage. But seems a nice deck, you have tried it already?

No, I haven't tried this, I would like to though. I didn't add Sorin to keep the price down a little. And yes, the lacerators may seem like a problem, but almost everything else in the deck is lifelink.
Yes, if you have lifelink in almost all creatures, it wont be a problem.
Maybe add Bloodgood of Vaasgoth and Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx.
I like cover of darkness. For 2 mana you have your vampires with fear. Its cool as well
