Deck Description

This decks goal is to have complete control over your opponent. Not just like a normal "control" put actual, complete control of the future of their side of the field. How? Fateseal. Or cards with abilities similar to fateseal. This deck might be a little shaky in the early game, but once it gets going there is nothing really your opponent can do. It works like this (if you don't know what fateseal is): you continuously use cards such as Wand of Denial, Architects of Will, Lurking Informant, Precognition, Ransack, and Dimir Machinations to make sure your opponent never draws the cards he needs. That means you make sure all the helpful stuff goes to the bottom, and all the crappy stuff, such as useless lands, stay on top. Mind Sculptor would be ideal for this deck, but im sure no one, even me, is gonna go out and buy 4 for the deck. This deck trys to slow it's opponent down at the beginning, with sculler, o ring, duelist, and wall of denial, but it's still rocky. if they do draw anything punish ignorance can solve it, if you have one in your hand. oh ya, how you win: attack, slowly but surely, until they are dead. ITS ALSO ABOUT $10 ON CHANNELFIREBALL.COM. i really dont give a shit about the rating but comment please if u got ideas.

Deck discussion for Fateseal

A very good build.
I would suggest you reconstruct your mana curve with land cards from the Shadowmoor, Lorwyn and Ravnica blocks to get more of the mana you want when you need it.

10/10

thanks dude, although i think the mana base is pretty good already. I need the vivids for sen triplets, and the arcane sanctum works perfectly. idk, ill consider it. and check out your deck.

I also like it... Maybe Cathartic Adept to put cards they need into the graveyard so they can't get it back through shuffling or anything...

thanks. idk, there are so many other cards that i want to add to this deck, like tidehollow strix, duress, pillory of the sleepless, and so on, and idk what to take out. that would probably be lower on my list, partially cuz the wand of denial does something similar.

Punish Ignorance is too slow in my opinion, especially if you are worried about early game. If your big concern is early game I would go with straight counterspells or something like manaleak (they probably won't have 3 extra early). Counterspell would be useful all the time though.

yah, i will strongly consider this. mostly i would use it in case they did draw something good after my filtering, and it never crossed me to use it near the begging of the game, but yah, i guess that would help. Thanks!

i decided on dromar's charm, cuz it can counter, kill or gain you life lost by the wand.

I'd be tempted to throw some discard in there to deal with early. There's really nothing in there to deal with what's in your opponents hand besides a few removal, but discard would really help you control every aspect of the game.
