I ended up second @ the 'Magic the Gathering - Khans of Tarkir Game Day!'. Played 5 games, there where 17 competitors.1st game: Against Abzan Midrange. It was a 1:1 draw2nd game: Against Jeskai Tempo. It was 2:1 for me. 3th game: Against Mardu Aggro. It was 2:1 for me.4th game: Against Jeskai Tempo. It was 2:1 for me.5th game(final): Against Abzan Midrange. I lost 0:2.In the final I got finished both games because of Herald of Torment got bestowed on Siege Rhino and I didn't have an answer to that. I actually think if that wouldn't have happened I had a pretty good chance of winning.
Pretty simpel. First 2 turns u use for mana ramp. Then you start to cast big monsters. You use the Chord of Calling for cards like:- Hornet Nest, trow before big hitter- Arbor Colossus, against flying- Hornet Queen, this really wins games- Reclamation Sage, against Enchantment of Artifact- Nylea, this also wins games- or Nylea's Disciple, to gain lifeFew things that I learned in the 2-3 months playing with this deck. Don't be hasty. Do your mana ramp and then watch your opponent. A Polukranos that is getting countered is never fun. Just cast stuff when your opponent is tapped out. If you are not playing against a deck with counterspells just cast offcourse. A few rotations that I really like:- Best thing for this deck is a turn 3 Prophet. If that is not getting countered you are probably gonna win :) . If you can cast a Yisan on the following turn of your opponent and you also have a Kiora's follower out you are in for some fun ;) - Turn 3 Polukranos is always good- Trowing a Hornet Nest before a semi big rabblemaster or a Doomwake Giant is always fun :)- Having a Prophet out, then cast Sagu Mauler on your opponents turn Morphed and then turning it on your next turn is also pretty amazing :D
