If you think about deathtouch, take a look on Basilisk Collar. Ok, equip cost is 2, but it also has lifelink ;)

Good work anyway!

I 'd consider replacing 'Drove of Elves'. Since you have many staff with mana cost 4 or more, you won't have out as much green permanents in most of the game as you think (also consider 6 colorless mana artifacts and all lands). Yes, it also have hexproof, but what is it for when your other Elfs don't, what makes you w/o power and toughness. This Elf works better with token-army versions of Elven decks with cards like Elvish Promenade, Lys Alana Huntmaster and Imperious Perfect.
I 'd replace it with 2x Imperious Perfect and 2x Ezuri, Renegade Leader, because this guy just wins the game, often in the round he comes into play. It also improves your Mana curve and brings new options for your 2nd turn if you played Elvish Mystic on 1st.

Check my version of Elves. It's not in modern, I play it for fun, but still...

Still thinking, how to figure out 2nd turn. Maybe some creature with mana cost 2 or global ench/art...?

The reason of playing Mystic Tutor is to get cards desired in your combo. And that's also why I included Faithless Looting, Preordain and Magma Jet. Point is not to draw cards, but to draw proper cards. Beacause without combo this deck sucks - almost no protection against fast and/or aggro decks (that's why I included Mystical Tutor, I found it wasted and unplayable. Then I finished R/B Snipers).

Your suggestions are great and it could possibly work. Have been always fan of Browbeat and I considered it. But I 'm not really sure if it 's worth of playing. Because opponent would probably take those 5 damage. He 'll most likely still have full life, while you 'll have many cards in hand. And if so, three mana would threat one-attack strategy. Impulse looks quite good, I 'll try it. Also 'll return Gitixian Probe.

Thx for advices. I would be honored if you could say few words about those snipers, which I find much more fun than this is.

Guys, suppose I cast Lava Spike with two or three other Arcanes spliced to it. Is converted mana cost of this spell 1 or 1+amount of all splice costs? :< I think the first answer is correct. Because the card, which is Arcane spell spliced on, doesn’t gain any other characteristics (name, mana cost, color, supertypes, types, subtypes, etc.) of the spliced card, right?

Thx.
