You might want to consider elvish mystics

A few things, first $75 does not classify as budget. Next, this deck is only legal in legacy and vintage, i would suggest making it standard or modern. If you do want to make it legacy drop the mana costs of everything. If not you might want to add more burn. Other than these you just want more burn cards and less creatures

So should i run counter spells??

I really like this deck, it would be very funny, however, I'd like to know how it matches agianst the top tear legacy decks.

im not sure but i think once gideon stops being a creature the +1/+1 counters fall off him

i would suggest replacing sphere of safety with aurelia, the warleader, ive currently been playing a lot with her and she works really well with cards like Tajic and Boros Elite because i causes 2 battalion procs (Tajic becomes a 12/12 indistrructable :D)

This is in fact a deck that used to be played a lot in modern so now people just take a shock and if u turn 1 blistercoil wierd into paridise mantle people will just kill it then you will lose before you can respond

casual play... im not good enough for tournaments :)

ahh the deck turns out to be pretty easy to play
the only problem is land but if u want thats really easy to fix
the cipher effect works but u need the distraction of the wight of the precinct six
i have milled people quite a few times with this deck but remember that it was built to budget so it can be easily improved :)

i thought about them but just dont have the cards
want to keep the deck at 60
