Shroud would prevent Gilder Bairn's effect working on Helix Pinnacle correct?

Thats correct Thistledown Shroud means the card cant be the target of other Spells or abilities.... for an example look at Benthicore.
Yea I've always wondered about when this happens. But i think it still does work cuz its a mass effect where it activates for all permanents. Shroud means it cant be the TARGET of spells or abilities, but its not really specifically targeting that card, gilder bairn is effecting all permanents
The keyword when playing shroud is target. If a card you play says target creature, land, permanent, etc, you have to choose a target card in play. If the target card has shroud, it cannot be targeted, so Gilder Bairn's effect would not work on Helix Pinnacle.
Doubling season does though, just a thought.
This combo doesn't work then. You could win with helix by itself, but you can't use Gilder to make it happen faster. Cool idea though.
cloudpost and vesuvas or however they are spelled would be KILLER
bairns wont work just about to make a deck that will helix tower of victory
no u dont use gilder bairn on the tower use it on the storage lands since those can be targeted.....after 8 counters r on it becomes an inf combo lol its a lil slow but things like true believer n some added defence mite hlp idk still workin on it
