Thanks for the suggestions

I do like duress, but it doesn't break up creature combos. I went with thoughtseize, so I can thoughtseize myself if I needed to and I can choose a bigger variety from an opponent.

I do like browbeat, that might be a better idea an faithless looting.

My only problem with reanimate is the life loss. A pretty good hand for this deck is Blood Crypt + dark ritual + putrid imp and exhume, with discarding ideally Utvara, anger, and bladewing. As far as playing the deck goes, it's not uncommon to get a hand where I can have a dragon in play first turn, just not swinging. You're probably right though, to speed up, I'd probably need reanimate.

It's actually going off pretty well. I've been surprised how many times I'm swing with Utvara by turn 3 (which starts doubling my dragons). I haven't used the sideboard too much, except for blightning which has been very helpful.

I will admit, I do not have bloodstained mire, Liliana, and I only have one thoughtseize so I cannot say I'm firing on all cylinders, but it's still going really well. It does pretty well in multiplayer too. Unfortunately I don't get to play my friends as often anymore, but they all have to bring out their best (and banned) decks to win. On that note, slaughter games is specifically a hate card against a few people.

I don't worry about it too much, I'm just seeing if anyone has some new ideas. I don't think it'll get much faster without changing the deck pretty drastically.

post a link, I'd be interested to see it. I've seen another black and red deck that uses stormbreath dragon and desecration demon. I've thought about doing that, and transitioning away from rebirth spells. But then it wouldn't be my dragon deck :-)

Thanks, that's not a bad idea. I was relying on the bogardan's to deal with any initial creatures. I do like Thundermaw's lower casting cost.

And I thank you for your comments. They're pretty good indeed. For the decks that can hold me off, I'm hoping to use the sideboard to shift to a control deck that still uses the dragons to win.

thanks for the suggestions. I used to have a lot of various dragons in this deck, but I would win before I would get to use whatever abilities. The dragons I have selected require no extra cost. I did use dragon mage for a while, but it's problem was it gave my opponent a new hand too.

Crucible of fire, fireshrieker, and darksteel plate are all good cards, but they cost some mana. In the interest of speed, I've left some of those out opting for a hopefully quick game. Always a fan of building up and smacking with huge dragons, but it gives everyone else a chance to build up too.

As I think about it, you may be right about reanimate. I'll give it a try and see what happens. Probably replace necromancy with it to avoid the weakness necromancy has.

I still like thoughtseize over therapy. Therapy still seems like a gamble to me, even if I know what cards I want to target, it's a gamble if they have them or not, and with an imp as the only creature I'll really want to sacrifice to get it back, it just doesn't seem like the way to go.

The cost of reanimate is pretty high. True, it is effective and fast, but if something happens to the creature, I'm down 8 life making late game harder.

You can choose yourself with thoughtseize. My problem with Therapy is I have to know the deck my opponent is playing so I know which card to name. If I don't, it's a shot in the dark.

Angel deck is nice, how fast is it? I've always considered entomb, but I've never found a way to use it to my liking. Other than therapy, how do you deal with graveyard hate? I'm trying to shift my deck a little towards control with the sideboard to deal with it against my deck. A T1 grafdigger's cage could be a problem.

I'd suggest some artifact hate. While you'll go off turn 2 or 3, it would ruin your parade if an opponent played grafdigger's cage turn one. Then you'd be stuck hard casting or hoping to get a high enough storm count for tendrils of agony, which would all slow you down significantly.
