Deck discussion for [Vintage] Lets Make the Water Turn Black

Here's my gripe with Worldgorger...It doesn't make any fucking sense.

Some examples of what I mean.

Channel Fireball - Ok, you 'channel' all your...planeswalker...energy into one big fireball.

Battle of Wits - "I win." "...Why?" "I know more spells than you" "Ok..." "It's true though." "Well you're a dick" "Still win."

Charbelcher - It 'belches' out so much smog and 'char' that the dude dies...

Darksteel Reactor - Chernoble anyone?

Epic Struggle - you have a shitload of creatures, so you win...

Then Worldgorger....Try to explain that in the metaphorical

It's kind of like the dragon is one great big terrifying carousel of a paradox, and you smash your opponents head into that caro-dox, resulting in their head exploding.

That's the best I can do, carousels and paradoxes.

I always say that the other 'mage' is just watching what you're doing and eventually says "Y'know what? Fuck it, I have NO idea what you're doing...you win."

I think you are mistaken; that's Doomday-Tide. And I know what you're thinking, but it actually exists 0_o

Hey man, I was just wondering if you'd ever use Thunder Dragon in your sideboard for Reanimator? It kills Fish, right? Just trying to figure out why there's such a big price tag (of course, it is from Portal).

Not Portal, Starter 99. Brimstone Dragon is from Portal, and it's $20.

Believe it or not I actually ran Thunder Dragon for a while, but nowadays I like Elesh Norn better. Yeah the dragon does more damage, making it more likely to sweep, but Elesh Norn pumping an Archon is just sexy.

Woudn't that be kinda redundant? The dragon is pretty powerful anyway.
