You make a very good point on traumatize. But really on increasing confusion? I use it as a small mill at first then wait for the chance to is it as a big spell when it can't be countered...

yeah but thats only if trostani is out at the same time. i talked to a Gran Prix player and he said the best direction to move with this deck is aggro. silverblades, resto angels, and wolfirs

you're right bleu, with this kind of deck its hard to keep mana open, which is why we use cheap removal like selesnya charm. now about the mana dorks. theres a way to get a trun three collective blessing if you play all mana dorks for two turns. so that gets you three or four 4/4s turn 3, kinda a big deal. but you are right because i have problems keeping mine for more than a couple of turns unless i have collective out

i agree with every word he says especially if you want to run a token focused deck. but you also need Temple Gardens and Trostani herself, along with Centaur Healers, Rancor, and since you arent splashing black for flashback on lingering souls , midnight haunting does the same exact thing just without flashback. check out my selesnya deck to get an idea of what im talking about

uhm, the whole deck would be rendered almost useless if i did that, geist honored monk is there in place of wayfaring because she is better in conjunction with collective blessing.... with collective blessing out and trostani i'm gaining at least 4 life for every creature. cast the monk and thats at least 15 health gained with just trostani and collective out. if anything im going to add Rhox Faithmender to double my life gains

running this much ramp you need boundless realms. use the elves and stuff to get it out and double your basic land mana for the hydra

Great wall deck, i suggest one more tree of redemption to help you make sure it comes out sometime in the game and another door to nothingness for the same reason. other than ludevics abomination or devil's play its your only game ender.

im thinking about faithmender but not healer of the pride, the more i look at it the more i think this deck is becoming aggro. it builds so quick and getting those loxodons off with rancor around turn 4-6 is just sick, so im not sure i want to change it to much. to call it life gain now seems odd because it only runs two life gain cards

Definately something im considering buying tonight. just dont know how much of use he would come in you know? the only useful ability is the -8 and the chances of the people i play with letting that bomb go off is slim and none. but its definately something to consider

You need more removal, try a few selesnya charms. also you have to have Collective Blessing. it turns a selenya deck into a big hitter pretty easily. and if you add arbor elves and avacyn's pilgrims you can get out your bigger spells quicker. i also suggest geist honored monk. she has worked very well for me! check out my selesnya deck when you've got a sec

Geist honored monk is for board wipes though, along with midnight haunting... the deck is very susceptible to board wipe cards. it helps me get back on my feet after a wipe
