Deck Description

My first populate deck using the cards I have available. Has performed well many times.

How to Play

I typically keep a defensive position trying to work off of the lingering souls and call of the conclave.

it seems like youre exactly expecting it to appear late game i mean yeah a nice throw down with a beast is nice but i dont see your creature mana creators sticking, i think youll be stuck against a wall because you will be trying to mesh with defense and offense to put out that monster

you're right bleu, with this kind of deck its hard to keep mana open, which is why we use cheap removal like selesnya charm. now about the mana dorks. theres a way to get a trun three collective blessing if you play all mana dorks for two turns. so that gets you three or four 4/4s turn 3, kinda a big deal. but you are right because i have problems keeping mine for more than a couple of turns unless i have collective out

I would sideboard the Sundering Growths and Replace them with Rootborn Defenses. I would also swap Armada Wurm for the Worldspine, and work some Selesnya Charms in--great for fattie removal, or tokens.

I had rootborn defenses in there, but I don't know I feel as if I didn't use them as much. I will try them out though.

Armada Wurm, 4 x intangible Virtue, 1-2 more collective blessing. Geist honored Monk is very good here as well. Sundering growth needs to be a SB card - if they dont have artifacts or enchantments it will just sit in your hand. You can drop the guildmage as well, his abilities are very costly and he is likely to die before doing anything relevent.

i agree with every word he says especially if you want to run a token focused deck. but you also need Temple Gardens and Trostani herself, along with Centaur Healers, Rancor, and since you arent splashing black for flashback on lingering souls , midnight haunting does the same exact thing just without flashback. check out my selesnya deck to get an idea of what im talking about
