definately feel like having launch the fleet instead of devouring light or even going 2/2 on each would definately help, just continue pushing the aggression especially with spear of heliod on the field. i also enjoy feat of resistance in these kinds of decks, i feel it gives you a nice get out of jail free card to keep a creature on the battlefield when its about to bite the dust, as well as it adds a viable counter to them. bellowing saddlebrute is aslo a nice warrior to add, just a bigger warrior that should be cheap to fit into these kinds of decks

theres the link to mine. i have most of the cards needed for this build already so its extremely cheap to just transform the deck come october

no, not yet. i have a red/white burn deck i currently play, but for standard reasons is screwed when the ravnica block rotates out. ive played a bit with how to change that deck to keep it standard for the most part and this is one of the solutions ive come up with. still need a few cards for the sideboard, but i think its coming along nicely

i do see what your saying, but i personally feel that the thing that makes this deck work is that it can be a constant turn 6 kill. having the firedancer on the field is a way to burn the player and wipe their field with the burn spells in the deck and i want to really be able to punish the opponent very quickly. in the playtests ive done with this deck, ive never blocked an attack and warleaders helix on turn 4 or 5 really helps keep me alive...in addition to having a firedancer on the field, i not only gain life, i destroy a creature (more than likely) and i burn the player as well. guttersnipe is in there for flavor and thats just about it...although he is great to have on the field in a burn deck because if used as a blocker, the opponent will be eating more damage. i might experiment putting those red dictates into the sideboard and seeing if i ever need them (take out magma spray for them). it is a good way to instantly ramp any damage you can do to an opponent

personally, i speak from experience, this deck can completely mess somebody up, especially with a good draw. i like the direction you went with it. the ability to give shroud to almost anything in the deck is a good strategy, and as you know, im a beginner so if somebody has a way around it, feel free to leave a comment explaining how

id rather scry the land up to the top if needed and use the ability to get it onto the field. afterall, i need mana and wont be focusing on that too much late game where im looking for a creature. and jace's erasure i think is a decent beginning card to have in the duel, especially with all the drawing i can be doing

hopefully, i would love to get some more cards to fit this deck better than the ones i do now, but it flows nicely atm with a good draw (what deck dosent?). i like having the ability to get 10 mana out by turn 5
