Nice deck. My only concerns are with midnight banshee and gnarled effigy. If you're playing against another deck that uses black, Banshee's use becomes exponentially limited. Gnarled Effigy is nice, but its ability is a bit on the expensive side. Maybe consider throwing in power of fire to enchant on a creature with wither (TIM wither counters = real handy.) As a SB for Midnight Banshee, perhaps stigma lasher (would throw off your land balance though), corrosive mentor (would only benefit soul snuffers), or cinderbones (a bit of an expensive cast, but a wither-blocker with regenerate).

Not sure how well it will work, but maybe it would be best to get rid of the top-rated decks on the front page and instead have it post random decks from the mtgvault database. That might help alleviate the desire to vote decks down based on reasons other than actual deck quality.

At least you had the balls to comment, most of the time decks are voted down without any explanation.

I see you cut out the middle man and immediately started attacking Irrelevant as a person, not just their deck. I dig the baby comment. Obviously Irrelevant is an infant looking for the means to 'feel good' about himself or herself. Nice job with the girlfriend jab too, I think you really got 'em good there! (Assuming of course that you know Irrelevant in person and that he or she doesn't have a girlfriend.)

Joking aside, you missed the point of this post. The vote mechanic on the site is flawed, as you indirectly stated yourself. If your score means nothing then what's the point of even having a vote system? And if that's true, why'd you even waste your time to vote zero? Yes, the comments are what matters. The problem is that comments hardly ever happen and certain people on this site vote decks down without leaving any advice or constructive criticism.

So hang in there, champ. Don't post the name-calling and chastising personal remarks on here anymore. (It's a bit immature and tends to make one look like a fool.)

I couldn't agree more. Just made an angry rant deck a few minutes ago before seeing this one posted.

10/10 and I'd love to see this pinned to the mtg vault main page.

Just realized something. You need to add in sign in blood. With underworld dreams out, that's 4 damage. With caress out and two discard's or hymn, that's an additional four.

Elves are probably why Green is my least favorite MTG color. I've played against numerous elf decks, but judging by the sheer number of synergies in this one I'd have to say it takes the cake. Excellent job, here's to hoping I never have to face it. =)

As a side note, could you comment/rate my Vampyre deck?

Another good Azorius deck submission, nice work. Windreaver is an excellent card, including the artwork

Selesnya and those all-too annoying saprolings. Another fine submission

With Overrule and Augustin (as well as the Forecast mechanism), The Azorius Senate was perhaps the most annoyng guild during Ravnica and you've definitely captured that essence. Well done

Haunt provided a unique addition to MTG, especially sacrifical decks. With Teysa out in play, Orzhov might very well beat any of the other guilds. Nice work

The izzet submission without Gelectrode? That caught me off guard. Very nice job here though and I'm interested to see how it competes against the other submissions.

Boros was a powerful guild back in Ravnica, especially with Lightning Helix. Nice job and thanks for participating in my Deck Challenge

I was never a big fan of Simic or grafting, but this deck actually looks like it could be fun. Congrats and thanks for participating in my Deck Challenge

Nice Dimir deck. Circu and Glimpse the Unthinkable are great cards for any U/B mill. Perhaps consider throwing in a Szadek and infiltrator's magemark? Although doing so might disrupt the card balance in the deck

Looks like a pretty solid deck. Maybe consider replacing Robe of Mirrors with Clout of the Dominus or Lightning Greaves? Also, lessen the card load down to the 60's if you can. 82 is killing the odds of drawing the necessary cards.

Font of Mythos doesn't negate Nihil stone, since the latter checks how many cards are in your hand before the former even triggers. Untap, Upkeep (Nihil Stone triggers), Draw (Font of Mythos triggers). Plus, Font of Mythos helps get more cards in your opponents hand for you to discard.

Nice draw/discard deck. I would advise Hypnotic Specter over Guul Draz Specter though because of the potential 1st turn drop and discarding at random can really mess up your opponent's strategy. You'll be doing plenty of damage from the enchantments and whatnot to make up for the conditional 5/5.

Looks like a pretty solid deck, nice job. Might want to consider spell pierce especially if you're running into artifact or enchantment problems.
