I used to be a major fan of EoM, it was in just about every deck I made lol. All I play these days is multiplayer, so i find boomerangs to be more beneficial. I was thinking of Into the Roil or Peel from Reality for a bit of creature protection and another sacrament (since I can tutor it if need be using transmute)

Updated*. As for Duskmantle, I think I'll keep it in solely for the flavor. It'll be immediately replaced by the new, better one coming out in Gatecrash.

YESSS, that's exactly why Sad. Sac. is in here lmao. I'm liking the idea of mask of riddles too, my only concern is that I'm playing against Izzet and Golgari decks mainly, so my creatures get nuked if I'm not careful.

Also true on the Mindleech mass. I only added him because I own one lol. I might throw in another sad.sac. or Mask of Riddles to try it out. Thanks for the input!

Budget-ish, yeah. I know it isn't strictly mill or anything, but House Dimir really never was solely based around that concept. It was just a part of them lol

The verdict: It was just okay. I was taking damage and managed to counteract it with a higher amount of lifegain until the control cards came (or they were dead.) If I didn't have enough healing to counteract the damage, I was dead quite fast.

-Removed Contagion Engine and re-added Wurmcoil. The former is not in my Five Star~Blue Infect deck.

Well thanks! This is actually built under a budget ($20.00, excluding basic land cost.) otherwise I would have four inkmoths

Was randomly looking for a deck using the blue zombies in a U/R deck composition and stumbled upon this. I really like the concept you've got going on here and it seems to flow rather smoothly. I would recommend Increasing Vengeance over Reverberate simply for the ability to reuse it (but it does increase the deck cost) and possibly testing out Faithless Looting over Desperate Ravings (you lose card advantage but gain the choice of what to discard.) Skaab Ruinator is ridiculously powerful and annoyingly hard to get rid of. I would recommend reconsidering Charmbreaker Devils (they really shine in flashback decks somethin' fierce, but not as much in a creature-based deck.) Instead of the Devils perhaps consider Curse of Bloodletting. That way your Ruinators/Delvers can fly over the opposition for twice the pain, your volley hits with twice the punch, your fireslinger pokes both eyes instead of just one, etc.

Just some suggestions to consider. The deck is pretty solid as-is and looks like it can be fun to play, nice job!

I was poking around looking at decks and I stumbled upon this. I really dig the concept and the price. Are you looking to keep it in Standard or are you willing to venture into Extended/Modern territory?

The only thing I see iffy is the artful dodge. It would make a good sideboard card if you needed an answer to getting your few creatures in for the hit. Delver already has a pseudo-dodge (with flying.) Still, solid deck and looks like it could be fun ^^

UPDATED 23Feb2012:

Removed cards that weren't being utilized as effectively as I thought they would on paper. As a multiplayer deck, this thing should stomp face if left unchecked for a couple turns.

-Exchanging the Sign in Blood's for Unwinding Clock really helps to use Decimator Web on each of your opponents during their turn (before draw, so they can see what would have been.)

-Trading out four Swamps for four Darksteel Citadel's lets the potential for more things to untap with Unwinding Clock. Also, only two swamps are needed to use the spells.

-Lastly, removing Wurmcoil (as recommended by Titus1104 ^^) in exchange for Temple Bell helps to speed up the mill and progress the deck into late game faster; where it should thrive.

I do appreciate the input, don't get me wrong, but in the times I have played this (multiplayer mainly), limiting my ability to spend only black mana on X just hinders me more (as the main mana ramp comes from the Chalices / Voltaic Key.) Wurmcoil and Hellkite are only in the deck because I happen to own the former (too expensive otherwise) and the latter is my favorite card ever. Thank you for commenting though!

Pretty intense deck you've got here. My only suggestion is that although megrim is good, it's junk now compared to liliana's caress. Replace it with Quest for the Nihil Stone, because your enemy will probably not have a hand. A lot.

This deck... so awesome... Vat/persecutor combo is nasty, to say the least. Only thing I would suggest is to try and work in a bit more control over the opponent. Sun titan is nice but doesn't provide enough synergy with the deck, but that's probably my bias because I feel he only belongs in ally decks. Similar deals with Elspeth and Gideon, but again that's probably my dislike for planeswalker cards (old school.)

Great deck idea. I would consider dropping one fire servant and add another spitemare (suuuch a good card!)

I really like the concept you've got going here with this deck. However, I think it would be beneficial if you had a few counter or control abilities to ensure that you get that poison counter on the opponent. Plus, I'd consider throwing in 4x necropede's for another artifact and 2-cast infect creature.

Never was a fan of white, but this deck looks pretty sweet. I would definitely recommend squeezing lust for war into the main deck

I would recommend throwing in some Sacred Wolves to replace a few elves if you want to try and get a better bang with Packmaster. And Rhys the Redeemed is a must if you're going wolf tokens (see Rhy's last ability. It's nuckin' futz)

Good deck though, nice job

Replace Lightning Talons. It's nice, but contradictory when Goblin Tunneler comes out. Consider firebreathing in its place and switch the amount with Claws of Valakut.
