Deck Description

So this is the first draft of a deck I've been wanting to build since Roon was spoiled. Basically we're taking advantage of Roon being one of the very few Legendary creatures that has native Trample and Vigilence that doesn't cost a million mana. On top of all that he has the ability to remove blockers.

I realize that I probably need to work in more removal, some graveyard hate, and generally tweak things a bit. But this is basically just want to slap some pants on that Rhino and get in there.

Deck discussion for Roon Voltron

You have more than enough etbs to run deadeye navigator. You could really abuse cards like acidic slime and the primordials with him. Also maybe a few swords or stronger equipments to make roon hit harder. Batterskull comes to mind, but there are tons of others that would make him hit a lot harder. If you have trouble deciding what to take out, skyshroud claim and crawlspace both seem unnecessary.Good, but not essential. I hope this helps. :)

Thanks Gaspartacus. I didn't add Deadeye Navigator because I really don't want to play a blink deck. I could, and it's the easy way to go but it's not what I want to do. Blink shenanigans are more of a plan B in case I get stymied by hexproof/shroud/etc.

I was just about to take another pass at the deck and maybe get it to the point where I'm ready to actually build it. I'm definitely going to rough out some math to figure out just how much pump I really do need to run. I think even with the exalted theme it's just a touch more, and unless I can work in a couple more tutors I may need to move away from variety in my auras/equipment and go towards a more redundancy-based build.
