Deck Description

Selesnya token/populate EDH deck. More than enough token creation with some mana ramp to make sure you have enough mana to keep the tokens coming.

This is a work in progress so any suggestions would be great.

How to Play

Rhys just loves having house parties. She can keep the party going with her activated abilities, by creating an Elf Warrior creature token or making a copy of a creature token for each creature token you control.

Brindle Shoat,Doomed Traveler, Emeria Angel, Rhy the Redeemed, Sprout, Midnight Haunting, and Call of Conclave will start the token creation and party, so make sure they are in your opening hand.

Collective Blessing, Growing Ranks, Druid's Deliverance, Sundering Growth, Rootborn Defenses, Trostani's Judgment, and Wake the Reflections will help the party get bigger with populate.

Wayfaring Temple and Geist-Honored Monk love being the life of the party. Since their power and toughness are both equal to the number of creatures on the battlefield. Wayfaring Temple populates the party every time he deals combat damage to a player so Rancor is best placed on him. Geist-Honored -Monk brings a posy of 2 1/1 White Spirit creature tokens when she arrives to the party. Of course if Doubling Season and Parallel Lives are out before either one gets there, then the party is really going to get crazy.

Hornet Queen is only to be played if either or both Doubling Season or Parallel Lives is out. I shouldn't have to explain why.

Captain of the Watch and Hero of Bladehold is always the security at Trostani's parties. Captain of the Watch enters with 3 1/1 Soldier tokens and Hero of Bladehold adds to security whenever she has to kick someone out. Oh and Captain of the Watch also makes sure they all stay nice and vigilant.

Deck discussion for Rhys's House Party EDH

Looking like a decent and an effective pack, but I do have a couple of suggestions!

Cards to remove:
-Hunger of the Howlpack
Yeah, I know that it can make one of your creatures pretty nasty piece of cardboard especially with Doubling Season in play. But, outside of that, I think it is not that playable.

-Coursers' Accord (and/or Wake the Reflections(?))
You don't need too many of those Populate-thingies, since you already have the best ones (Rootborn Defenses, Trostani's Judgment and Sundering Growth), and of course, Trostani herself. These cards mostly just take room from the game-ending monstrosities.

Cards to add:
-Nomads' Assembly
In token decks, this card usually wins some games.

-Some additional artifact/enchantment removal.
Good examples are Fate Forgotten, Revoke Existence and Rain of Thorns.

-Most probably Cathars' Crusade.
This card is just damn good in EDH. It also makes Trostani into a huge threat.

But as I already mentioned, the deck seems to work completely properly even without these minor changes. And remember, they are just MY SUGGESTIONS. Everyone has their own opinion.
