I have made this deck in real life now i need you guys to help me improve it.and this deck is only legal in legacy because of brainstorm because its just so over powered i guessi would like the lands to be different but i havent got around to that

personally I think you need to simplify this deck a little, its very muddled and has no real theme in it, and my best guess is that it plays very slow and very random..... you have vampires and worms and illusions and counters and burn..... maybe you need to focus on one or two of these themes and maybe trim it down to two colors instead of three.... I myself am not a fan of Nicol Bolas or having more than 2 planeswalkers in a deck, whether it be the same guy twice or 2 different ones.... I am not sure what current card pool is like or what you are accessible too as you stated you play this deck IRL. .... My best advice tho is too focus in on a theme and have a sub theme in the deck.... make sure your creatures can stand up to the spells you are going to play... for instance your slagstorm as it will affect your olivia and your images..... also make sure you have some removal as well... whether it be creature or emchantment or both..... and most of all make sure your deck isnt too predictable as far as theme or creatures.
Ok olivia I can buff up very easily so slag storm does nothing to it and what else can clear the board as fast as slag storm does huh? And oh wow my phantasmal images are gone I don't care they r just for getting rid or legendary creatures or early game block . This deck wins by wiping the board and getting something good out like stealing a creature with phantasmal image or Askiok or I just play bolas and get rid of half their lands and u may say well what if they blah blah well why do I have counter spells in this deck? Why not have two or more planswalkers in a deck? Look up good control decks on youtube and they will normally have more than two planswalkers. Oh and btw I checked out your decks I don't think your fit to help out this deck.
First of all, telling someone they're not fit to help with a deck makes you a dick. You don't have to take their advice even if they give it to you, so don't randomly bash them. Second of all, he's right. This deck is fairly random and does not have a clear theme that I can see. The other people commenting are right too; Jitte is far better than Sword, you'll never get to cast Bolas in Legacy (You'll never get the mana before somebody combos you or they'll just counter it), and Olivia Voldaren is just a random inclusion. Bonfire of the Damned and Ashiok are both singularly ill-suited for legacy play. Even Wurmcoil Engine is very random and not that great without mana ramp.
this is casual play not everything has to be competitive. this deck is meant to be a little more fun.
I'm not good with budgets this big, but I try my best...Charms like Grixis Charm and Crosis's Charm offer all many choices, and can be used in different situations.I think Cruel Ultimatum's mana cost would be too high for this deck...If you are not afraid of priceful cards, Time Warp, Snapcaster Mage and Dark Confidant could maybe have their places here.
i do want snapcaster mage but it would take me about a month or so to get them unless i trade alot :pmost the cards in this deck i got when they where cheap like i got wurmcoil for 8$ each and i have the promo ones
Well, you're using the worst sword. Try to get Sword of Ice and Fire, or Umezawa's Jitte.I know they're expensive but in order to have a good legacy deck you need fetches.Cut Nicol Bolas, you're never going to cast him.
nicol bolas has not been working as well when i changed the deck and i know that sword isn't very good but i needed one more card in the deck so i threw that in. i was thinking about getting another wurmcoil and taking out a nicol bolas and then taking the other out for another sword or ashiokdo u think that would be good?
Yeah, take out Nicol Bolas and add another Wurmcoil. I would suggest replacing the sword with an Umezawas jitte
do you think the jitte is better than sword of feast and famine and if so why is it better?
Yes. Jitte does everything, where the sword's abilities might not do anything if they've dumped their hands or you have nothing to play
i will try it out but it might take a while to get them. like my friend had the swords so i got those from him but idk where to get the jitte for trade. i still need to get my third wurmcoil engine i went to a shop but they where sold out.i will have to try it with proxies for now :palmost forgot to tell u i took out 2 ponders and 1 forbidden alchemy for 3 brainstorms for the bonfire to work better and for the instant perk to it

so replace brainstorm with ponder and counter-spell with remand and the summit and catacombs for bloodstained more and polluted delta and this deck is modern?
Ponder is not legal in Modern. Serum Visions is the only decent cantrip.
ah, sorry... that's the one that is draw then sry right? Rather than sry then draw. But still.. ive seen cruel ultimatum decks do rather well in modern at my meta... as people tend to be allot more experimental rather than playing the solved decks... and though ill admit its not awesome its ok...
