Simple theme using creatures that can gain power quickly. They have high synergy with other creatures in the deck. The spells revolve around removal, most notably creature removal, to keep the red zone clear for my attackers. Deathrite Shaman (although currently banned on Modern) makes for a great card, no matter when you play him. Slitherhead can chump block and come back as a +1/+1 counter on a dude. Lotleth Troll is a total powerhouse, for example: T1: ForestT2: Troll (Discard 4x Slitherhead and 1x Anything else) Scavenge on Slitherhead foran 10/8 [Beware of spot removal before T3]T3: Save 1 Black mana to keep him alive if he is targeted by removal.NOTE: Swamp out Deathrite Shaman for one of the sideboards to make this Modern legal.
