Deck Description

>>>>>>THIS IS AN UNDER CONSTRUCTION PROTOTYPE<<<<

Credited from an wizards.com daily article in 2010. this was standard at one point and time! i have made some refreshments and updates.

Turbo fog is a slow, low interaction deck that brings a game to a halt. You play as many cards with a fog effect you can, and just stall every turn. not the funnest thing to play against, but it does work. This is my version using isochron scepter to do unlimited fogs, and i do have some alternate win-cons

How to Play

The best-case with this deck is you play an isochron scepter turn 2 with either Fog or holy day imprinted on it. You can then just fog them out every turn, waiting for one of your win cons to appear (elspeth, kiora, inkmoth)

I feel that Jace, Memory Adept and his 0 ability is a much better win condition for this deck instead of elspeth, knight-errant. With howling mine on the field, you can generally win in about 3 turns with a jace on board. Plus, he has naturally high starting loyalty, and can help you through card advantage if necessary.
I sort of like the name "Fog, the Crashing Wave."

Sweet man, thanks for taking my advice. Let me know how the deck performs with Jace in the deck instead of elspeth.

Used to be standard? so are you trying to make this modern viable? how is your combo match up?

Well its good against twin and very bad against pod. The deck doesn't do well against decks that don't win through combat. Overall has been interesting gameplay, its just very, very slow

Turbo Fog has always been a cool deck in my book. This list is rather unorthodox/ unique too, so that's cool. It looks pretty decent, and i kinda dig Kiora here a ton. The Combo match-up seems pretty rough though. Well at least non creature combos.

Sideboard looks a little rough too. 4 O-Rings? Reclaim? there has to be some better way to optimize your board space. What's your worst match-ups?
