Deck Description

infinite turns combo deck

How to Play

Its really a combo deck at heart. stay alive via counterspells and elixir of immortality until turn 5, then start to chain together time walk effects. with the elixir's and drawing extra cards each turn you should be able to never run out of time walk effects, so just take turns until you win. using cryptics you can bounce every permanent back to its opponents hand. thassa can be an alternate win con with enough devotion, which this deck has no problem with. otherwise you use jace's plus ability and Mikokoro to force them to draw a card. out of the sideboard we have more counterspells for the grindy matches, monastery sieges for burn and discard spells, laboratory maniac for the matches we cannot mill our opponents, and master of waves/vedalken shackles to surprise our opponent if our gameplan isn't getting us there

As I had commented in a similar deck, you might want to consider putting in Panoptic Mirror to imprint your extra turn cards. I'd also consider dropping a Walk the Aeons and the Temporal Trespass for a couple of Crucible of Worlds, might let you use your Walk cards more. Otherwise this is a good deck. Infinite Turns are always fun.

I don't think ill ever use the buyback ability on walk the aeons. I want to draw pretty much the whole deck, then cast temporal trespass to take everything I don't want out of the graveyard. ideal situation is I cycle 2 elixir of immortalities, 4 time warp, 4 walk the aeons, 2-4 cryptic commands, and all the serum visions. if I can filter the deck down to that with jace, thassa, serum visions, dictate, and a bunch of extra turns it actually becomes infinite!

zaklax basically just described how extra turn decks work, draw enough card at your upkeeps to go infinite and then win with jace or something

yea I guess I needed to. a lot of people for the timewalk decks suggest crucible and Mirror, but I just don't think the are a good use of slots, that's all

not that those cards are bad, but it just doesn't seem to work in the slots I have. im still trying to cram 2 more gigadrowse in here

i recommend replace few dictates with howling mine, since is cost lesse mana is pretti good imo even though no flash

I really want to just run the 4 howling mines, the only reason I am using them really is A) flash gives me the first extra card, and B) to turn on thassa as an alternate wincon. I may just cut thassa too, im undecided on the whole thing.
