Prowess: I did know that. I was just trying to find some cheap creatures so casting and equipping in the same turn was possible. When that's not possible, at least I get a prowess trigger from casting artifacts is an OK consolation prize; though it probably won't be relevant once my opponent gets some board presence. In v1, Dragon Fodder and Hordeling Outburst replaced Seeker and Swiftspear. I went back on that plan because I've seen Virulent Plague more and more in B sideboards recently. I am definitely open to suggestions. The creature base has been the hardest part to figure out.Felidar: The thought was to try to trigger his ability by swinging with a seeker or felidar with one or more helms equipped. In tests, I've been able to get roughly 3-4 enchantments out per game => 4/6 + h*(4/4); it seems possible. It was a last minute add to fill the board. Honestly, I'm not sure when I would side him in.Thanks for the feedback. Let me know if you have any ideas.

I like it for the most part. Though, Ojutai's Command may not be the right fit since one mode can't be used. Perhaps, Noyan Dar would be a nice addition? Also, in response to another commenter, I wouldn't splash black. The current standard is going to be heavily influenced by who can make their mana base work the best for their strategy, so making it one degree more complex may not be the way to go. For more removal, add Stasis Snare or Silkwrap; quick and exile effects do matter. Both of these don't care how big the creature is, though, Silkwrap is better against aggro.Complete Disregard is nice, but worse against midrange; GW/Bant Megamorph will find it easy to evade if you don't have the counterspell for Dromoka's Command. A Hardened Scales deck would be a tough matchup, too. That being said, I like the smattering of 1-of's. Another Dig or Anticipate may be in order since you'll want to search for the right response. My 2ยข
I agree. That's one reason I included Whelming Wave. I suppose Surge of Righteousness and Encase in Ice could help with fast decks. I did consider Silkwrap since Deathmist is so popular, but I opted for Banishing Light since it's a bit more versatile. Let's hope the Origins set brings some better removal for these colors. I'd love to see Detention Sphere or Supreme Verdict again.
:( I guess I'll remove the tag. My local shop runs a custom format, similar to Peasant, with a different ban list.
Oh ok, I misunderstood. I chose despise because it is not only significantly cheaper but I hope to reanimate my opponent's best creature(s). I'm particularly excited about stealing a Goblin Rabblemaster. :DJudging from the FNMs I've played thus far, there will be plenty of creatures to go around. I'm still unsure about it's reliability in the long term, though. Also, I'm planning to use despise to trigger Nighthowler and Profane Memento.
Despise is being reprinted in Khans of Tarkir; this should be standard in one or two more weeks. Plus, Thoughtseize can only target nonland cards.Even with that stipulation, it could be a good sideboard card for this deck since I can target a creature i want to reanimate or any noncreature spell which might prevent me from doing something advantageous. I was hesitant to include it at first because only because it's so expensive and in-demand. :D
Just wanted to comment on how much I like Dakura Mystic in this deck because it combines scry, mill and card draw into one ability; plus, it affects your opponent!
Nighthowler is perfect for this deck; thanks!
Scrying is nice with this deck
