As I go back to a no-fetch landbase due to the pain. :'D

I like the fetches since you can use them to change your topdeck for realmwalker. It's pretty important to be able to reshuffle if you end up with a land, ww, or coco on the top.

Pretty good, the manabase kinda hurts a ton.

I've been playing this one lately. It's hard to say.

Yeah just going with Elvish Warmaster in this build replacing Ezuri. In my testing, realmwalker gets blocked in GB elves too frequently. I will also be experimenting with/playing monog realmwalker hoof elves.

Tyvar Kell is too slow for modern. CMC4 and being a blocker for realmwalker just makes it very undesirable.
I do have another build I haven't published yet here: https://www.mtgvault.com/zoson/decks/realmwalker-elves-2020-v2/

Ezuri is too slow these days. Joraga warcaller + bramblewood makes it so you don't need ezuri. Metallic mimic is a blocker for Realmwalker, and in my latest revision is dropped. Coco is a stopper for realmwalker as well, and is why i dropped it.

they both have their pros and cons. With realmwalker shaman of the pack goes up in value significantly as long as you can cast it.

A link to the card is in the deck description.

The point here is a much lower mana curve in general than the standard warriors build, so Archdruid becomes unnecessary. As modern has gotten faster, and removal more plentiful, Archdruid is no longer very effective at CMC3.
Doubling Season and Primval Vigor are FAR too slow without Archdruid, and Hardened scales isn't an elf.

Went 3-0 yesterday with the deck as it is shown here. Beat 4c Omanth Uro Pile 2-0, Jund 2-1, and Humans 2-0.

Now that Lead the Stampede is reprinted into Pioneer - we can work toward critical mass!

Overall, Kroxa has felt really good. You always play Goyf long before you can play Kroxa. And when you do cast Kroxa from escape, you simply don't care about Goyf any more because Kroxa just ends the game.

I have considered going down to a single Kroxa. If you get two in your opener, it feels real bad. Drawing him if you have one in escape already, and your GY isn't a giant pile, also feels real bad.

Thanks! Yeah, Kroxa is a great finisher. Even at the expense of Goyf's power to play.

Thanks! Me too. I'm really hoping elves can shine. I've tried to keep the curve of the deck similar to modern. Should be able to play out my whole hand consistently, and the deck has several very relevant threats.

I play modern elves regularly, check my deck lists. Nobody uses Gods any more in modern. If we need help against control, you're choosing between either nissa, choke, or shapers sanctuary depending on your meta.

Nissa, Vital Force will help significantly more against control.

Wildborn Preserver is significantly better than Thorn Lieutenant.
Deathrite Shaman is significantly better than Pharika. So is Scooze for that matter.
