Deck Description

This deck have been with me for a while, beating almost any deck I've faced. Niv-mizzet is a commander that is fun to play but not that fun to face, so have that in mind if you build on yourself.

The decks purpose is to go (almost) infinite with combos around Niv-mizzet by drawing cards to deal damage.

How to Play

"Inf" draw: (reshuffle deck with Elixir of Immortality)
Niv-mizzet, the firemind + curiosity/Ophidian Eye or Tandem Lookout

Dizzy spell tutors for curiosity
Drift of phantasm tutors for Tandem Lookout/Ophidian Eye

Sigil of sleep + Niv-m= return an opponents creatures while you do massive damage

The rest of the deck is filled with cards like Shattered Perception, Whirlpool warrior that heavily runs through the deck until one of the five cards you need is found.

Control cards are a great addition for this deck since most players know how dangerous niv-mizzet can be, so don't expect to just easy wait out that combo, YOU WILL GET FOCUSED.

Force Away is a good example of useful cards, returns a creature to the hand meanwhile it triggers the combo by drawing a card.

Turn to frog: since Niv-mizzet easily does one damage to a creature, why not make the opponents creature a 1/1 ;) gets through indestructible aswell.

Cyclonic rift/whelming wave/Aligned Hedron and counterspells wins you time as well.
The less threats on the field, the more time you get to assembly the card you need.

The deck is full of creature stealers as well, and there will come some times you don't even need to do the combo since you already swings at the opponents with their own creatures.

Anger might be your best friend when playing this mighty dragon. Many cards in the deck draws then discard cards so the best card to discard is Anger since all your creature gains haste, making Niv-mizzet able to tap on its first turn on the field.
Anger is also a card many opponents forgets that you have laying in your graveyard so the sudden inf might come as a surprise for them.

Finaly Torch Fiend/Reckless reveler are not to underestimate in EDH where powerful Artifacts are a common sight (especially considering how the ultramagical sol ring happens to be in every players start hand ). Good early-game drops that might get a chance to swing sometime before you sac it to destroy an artifact from the opponent to win you more time.
