Deck Description

destroy lands, and make your opponent draw the same thing over and over
-a super aggravating casual deck that everyone will hate playing against.

How to Play

Open with an elf or wildgrowth so you can have turn 2 land destruction. putting cards on top of their library skips their next draw and ensures they dont draw more lands, or just draw the same lands over and over. stunted growth while they have 1 or no lands, is pretty much the final nail in the coffin.

Deck discussion for mono green control

Nice balance with the spells. I feel four Fallow Earth, Thermokarst ,and Winter's Grasp are in good proportion to the two Harmonize and Plow Under. Also Stunted growth is the best green card in print, in my opinion.

I think that this is a great deck, but I really think your opponent will eventually wear you down even if you destroy all of his or her lands. I think you need a huge creature for a win condition or something that gets powered up when you destroy a land. That is a good change you need to make. I will look at some of the cards that help you here!!

:P

...terrastomper is an 8/8 for 6... not big enough for you?

also when your drawing the same thing over and over and over again, you dont draw threats, just the same thing you started with. and if you have no lands, and i play a stunted growth, your not gonna be drawing lands for a while. at the same time, im drawing all sorts of cards, and you have no answers for what im drawing because you have no lands, its turn 5 and you still have the same cards you started the game with. if i go first, unless my opponent has all sorts of one mana spells, they do nothing the entire game.

I think you need Primeval Titan in here for more mana ramp to get out more of the cards you need quicker!!

Good luck!!

thats pretty expensive though, and also unnecessary. the late game isn't as important as the early game in this deck. the idea is to get out a fyndhorn elves or a wild growth first turn so turn 2 you can be destroying lands or putting them back on their library. strip mines help if they go first, but once terrastomper is down, the game ends pretty quick. if anything i was thinking about getting gaea's revenge.

What do you think would work better, Terra stomper, or gaeas revenge. I already have the stompers but I was thinking about getting geas revenge, I'm still unsure though. 7 mana is a bit steep.. >_<'

I always say: cheaper = better
Terra Stomper is great because it's a monstrous 8/8 creture with 2 usefull abilities for 6 mana, it's not cheap at all, but it works. ^3^

Yeah that's what I'm thinking. He ends the game fast and can come out turn 5 or in rare cases, even turn 4

Argothian Wurm would be great in this deck. Check it out..

I would also take out Wild Growth and put in more creature based mana. Maybe Wall of Roots would be good.

Argothian wurm is sick! He's no Terra stomper though. And the point of the wild growth is to unsure turn 2 land destruction. If you go first your opponent never has more than one land the entire game. I suppose I could switch it for a llanowar elves but the old llanowar elves I have are white bordered and look lame as heck. Hahaha

Oh and the cool thing about wild growth is that you can use it immediatly, no summoning sickness, and it can't be removed with creature kill. A chump blocker could be helpfull but I honestly don't have much trouble with this deck.

Have you considered Omnath? You'd be able to play him early on (like, turn 3 or 4 if you have plow under in hand and are willing to skip a turn of land bounce), and he'd get big pretty quickly AND act as a mana bank for you.

Also, I love that this is mono-green :-) I'm gonna build one with a blue splash for Leyline of Anticipation and Regress... Land removal on their turn? Yes!

Omnath is great buy I'm really only going for early mana ramp to ensure turn 2 ld. After that it's not Important. Blue green would be pretty cool, there's a bunch of cards like temporal eddy, and time ebb that could be rad with that

Or.. or or or DIRTCOWL WURM?! Almost forgot about that guy... He may not come out as strong, but his flavor with this deck is so PERFECT.

This is a long shot, but you could swap out the Fyndhorn's for Birds of Paradise and play Charnelhoarde Wurm to get your spells back?

Dirtcowk wurm is awesome as heck for sure... terrastomper is just such a beast. Aha. Also channelhoard wurm coud work but I'm trying to keep ths mono green ^_^

Crucible of world has also become one of my favorite artifacts, especially with cards like strip mine and quicksand.

How about Arbor Elves instead of Fyndhorn? If you would have Wild Growth on the table they will give more than one additional mana

That's a pretty awesome idea! I wish arbor elves looked as cool as fydhorn elves!! >_<' still I might just have to get some of those. ^_^

Could be, would be and *should* be a Green "Reverberate" It would make this deck implode on itself, sucking worlds and all lands into its maw.
A *green* *Reverberate* 0_0'
I think WotC have been cooking on the idea for some time... Look at the text on "Redirect" from M13

Awesome deck you've got here :D

Fallow Earth...not feeling that one. Up the Plow Under.

1
Posted 31 July 2014 at 05:38

You gotta believe me when i say that Fallow Earth is great. Think of this.. I go first play a land and an Elf. My opponent goes and plays a land. My turn i play a land and put his land on top of his library. He draw his land and plays it. On my turn i put it on top again.... It gets really frustrating and annoying drawing the same thing over and over. If they have a ton of 1 drops its obviously not as good. Most of the time though you catch them with nothing relative they can play, and them just drawing the same brick again and again. Fallow Earth is beast!

On that note, I might be able to get away with a 3/3 split.. because Plow Under is a monster as well..

Wanted to make a Plow Under deck...a deck search lead me here...and I was like, "Crap, he has been there and done that. And he ended up doing better justice to the card than I ever could."

Moments like that are aggravating.

I am trying to do that with Lifelink, right now. Wanted to do something very different with it...but my deck is looking more and more and more like every other Lifelink deck.

I know you hate trolling...but if you care to look:

http://www.mtgvault.com/jessie/decks/780806/

I started working on this Lifelink deck because you ruined Plow Under, by the way! lol :)

Joking aside, your deck is brutal.

Have you thought of updating this deck?
I want to make a deck like this one. It is extremely fun looking to play.
Again, good job.

I was looking for cards...and found Noxious Revival. I think it could shows potential. It could be redundant too.
But Turn 3, Play Winter's Grasp then sack 2 life to put their destroyed land back on top of their library.
It is Fallow Earth...just 2 cards and 2 life to do it...so, second thought, maybe not such a good idea.
Then again, thought about adding Beast Within.
Beast Within/Noxious Revival shows promise, right?
Plow Under your opponent. Then use Beast Within on their highest costing permanent. Use Noxious Revival to put that card on top of their library. Now, they get to draw the high costing permanent with no way to play it because Plow Under removed their lands.

Anyways, just brainstorming.
Sorry to take over your page.
Again, thanks for the inspiration.

I know i originally made this years ago, but i still have this guy put together, and this actually is the most up to date version. The deck has gone through a few changes over the years, and this is where it ended up.

You have some fun ideas though, throw together your own version and piss your friends off with it. >:D
