I love Izzet so much and this deck is great to look at. Truely well done! However i'd suggest perhaps 2 Arcane Melee's for allow for much easier casting of overload especially epic experiment and even a Firemind's Foresight to give that final push to the enemy. Both work well together of course as well. Though i don't know what i'd take out to put these in...

Fair enough, i didn't see that connection between those cards and didn't think about the use of the cards in RtR. I can't wait for its release!

How about one or two Rush of Blood's so Nova Chaser can be maxed out in damage. Or a Nantuko Mentor for constant use.

Nice! I love Bloodmark Mentor, it's one of my favourite cards; i think you should have two more of those in there replacing the 2x Curse of Stalked Prey's you have. If this deck is quick, which it looks, then Curse of Stalked Prey won't be very effective. It'll be better off in your defender deck.
Maybe a Curse of Bloodletting will help finish the fight also... It makes a simple lightning bolt or incinerate VERY deadly.

Ah a defender deck... My mate has one of these and it is just the most frustrating deck on the planet. Well i think for starters white and blue are definately the best defender colours available. Green is alright too but red is pretty crap. But with these colours i would suggest ridding ALL non-defender creatures :)
Then add Wall of Vines, Warmonger's Chariot, Battle Hymn, Manor Gargoyle, Haunted Guardian etc.

Dementia Bat is pretty terrible.

Yeah it would be! Don't worry bro, the deck is sick with or without having the perfect amount of Bone Splinters' and Undying Evil's! :D

Arc Trail is a nice card, and 4 Rakish Heirs is definately worth it but the Markov Warlords provide a nice finishing touch and Searing Spear is a little better at tackling bigger creatures than Arc Trail is. I actually originally had Arc Trail but replaces it with Flames of the Firebrand. Thanks for the suggestion though :)

Yeah i see what you mean... Well you deck is pretty solid at the moment so minor changes at this stage are not worth worrying over. However what i have in mind is quite drastic so bear with me:
-3 Artillerize
-1 Mobid Plunder (you could also swap this card for Gravepurge which i would do personally)
+2 Undying Evil
+2 Bone Splinters
It's bit rough and i had a hard time choosing stuff but this is ultimately what i think.

Well that works too, but i think that Undying Evil is perfect for this deck just as much as Bone Splinters. Up to you though :)

Actually yeah, Bone Splinters is PERFECT for this deck. I would -1 Morbid Plunder, -1 Artillerize and -2 Fling for four of them.

Yeah i agree! ^^^
This is a well layed out deck and you're using the 'enter the battlefield' effects to their uttmost potential. It almost seems however, that your creatures won't be able to attack very often before going back to your hand. I think you've layered your deck with TOO much sent back to your hand effects in game you'll find that you'll be sick of summoning your creatures over and over without them getting a chance to attack. But alas, this is YOUR deck and just my suggesiton.
I have only attempted one flicker deck and it is a gain life deck -

Haha, lol, Demon at Death's Gate is an awesome card though. How would you go about these cards:
- Rite of Ruin (a bit costly though, however you could use infurnal plunge to acquire that extra mana)
- Barter in blood (very good for this deck i think)
- Skirsdag Cultist

Keep up the good work :)

Yeah, there we go! That's looks better - a nicer mana curve, better balance of red and black and almost every creature there explodes when poked. Sweet as. Just another idea, maybe a Havengul Vampire or a card similar to that might do alright?

You can't take Skirsdag Flayer out! That is the heart of the deck and is SO worth the sacrifice of creatures and mana for the death of a creature. I like the idea of Skirsdag High Priest however, i didn't think of that card; it would go well with Skirsdag Flayer. I like your choice of the other cards and thier replacements and i see why you have chosen them but i only really agree with Sublime Angel and Skirsdag High Priest. By the way did you mean Cathars' Crusade instead of Cathars' Call? I can't seem to find any card by that name. Thank you for the input though :) :)

Well I think Geralf's Messenger only because the chance of getting three black mana out in the first couple of turns or even at all without comprimising getting red mana out would be rare. It is a great card however so it's a bit of a toss-up. Or Vampire Aristocrat.
I have a couple of self-sacrifice concept decks that are mostly undying type. Here is one that is mono red however, not black and red. If you want to take a look at it for ideas or whatever feel free.

Sweet deck! Maybe add a Goblin Arsonist to fix up the stray mana curve - everything cost two or three. Otherwise i love it!

This is pretty cool but there are too many 1-of's if you ask me. And you could really do without many of these cards. But, hey it is a spider deck and spider decks are awesome :)
I made a mono green spider if you wish to check it out.
