Lets face it, strive is basically a new form of multikicker or X cost spells, Strength of the Tajuru being one of the most Strive like.Use these Strive/Xcost/multikicker cards to swarm your heroes with +1/+1 counters (and tokens!)The heroes in the deck each have their own purpose. -Battlefield Thaumaturge makes the Strive, Multikicker, and X for Launch the fleet and Strength of the Tajuru and Thrive (respectively) free. Multiple copies can pour "mana" into the X cost of Strength as well!-Phalanx Leader tosses counters about and can grow creatures faster than a Simic deck if used right. Thrive, for example, will be effectively putting 3 +1/+1 counters on every other creature and 2 on your Phalanx Leader! Gods help an opponent who faces more than one...-Akroan Skyguard and War-Wing Siren provide the primary damage out put, with the ability to fly over and deliver all those +1/+1 counters to your opponents face!-Artisan of Form's can back up any hero, providing the extra "mana" as a Thaumaturge...Lending a hand at Leading your Phalanx...Flying head long into battle...or perhaps...-Sage of Hours is king. He can fight as well as any Heroic creature... but turning +1/+1 counters into control? Gods be Praised! Considering a single Phalanx Leader and Thrive can get you over half way to an extra turn, well, this should be no problem, especially with his Artisan of Forms apprentice. Not to mention a little Solidarity...
