Deck Description

A take on Jeskai Control.

How to Play

A Variant from jeskai control where you play to run narset to rebound and "forward removal" with rebound(ie play end to rebound, they won't play for that turn). Sarkhan and PLA for finishers and ojutai for everywhere in between.

Deck discussion for Help with Jeskai Control?

Honestly I think Roast isn't the kind of card your deck is looking for, I would put all copies in the board if you want them, and put Strikes main. I would also put the Ancient into the board because it just isn't as good as Ojutai is now, it could be necessary for other control match ups. I would also move some number of negate to your board as well just because it is only going to shine in certain matchups, and I would consider some wild slash for a better match up against the mono red/green strategies that are running around after the PT DTK. Hope this helps. :3

I would also consider adding flooded strand and some number of temples to your mana base as well.

Yeah I wasn't sure on the burn aspect as to if strikes vs roast vs stokes. I figured Roast because of rhinos and other abzan/ any other volume pumps along the way. But I see your point that being sorcery speed kills the card a little. I have the negates like in numbers because I'm basing it off oh my local meta, which is u/b control and Sultai control.

The wild slash, for me is board because there isn't to many things I would want to kill at 2 except rabble, elfish mystic, maybe a den protect and rattle. Everything else can get wrath maybe. Twin bolt? idk

And I absolutely agree with the flooded strands and temples and will do. And thanks again, appreciate your input!

I get the logic on wild slash, but if someone lands a rabblemaster early, you want answers for it as soon as possible and you can save game loses by playing at least a couple main. No problem, glad I could be of help! Also, how have the Exemplars been as a win condition?

Yeah thanks because I played myself against a red wins style deck(rabble, dragon fodder with obelisk pump) and I couldn't find the answers until I found my end hos. The exemplars are interesting because I feel that it make hero's downfall almost a risk just because of a pop spell into exile for the turn. I think their are better options maybe like ojutai with hexproof but I like the fact of lifelink or locking down a big. Hmm.
