Deck discussion for Golgari Simic team-up

Great deck, I would put the abrupt decays from the side board into the main deck, I would move 3 there. Second I would take out sage of hours, death's shadow and doomgape and master biomancer for 3 scavenging ooze, and once the new cards from khans of tarkir come out i would put in 2 sultai charm. Bonehoard wurm, corpsejack menace and bioshift for maybe 2 pschyatogs? and maybe a few snapcaster mages. If you need any more advice, please tell me But I don't want to overwhelm you with to much stuff, so hope I helped you! :)

the deck runs off of tons of +1/+1 counters so a few of those cards are definitely staying in but i agree about trying to get scavenging ooze and snapcasters as well as the abrupt decays but those are all rough on the budget :/

Yeah I don't think you need the snapcasters but scavenging ooze is really good in this deck. :)

I think that sage of hours isn't good in hear, because even if you do get it up to five counters you're doing a lot more work for an extra turn than you should be. Also i would take out the death's shadows, because even though their interaction with The Mimeoplasm is really good and their interaction with varolz, but they are really not that good on their own. Maybe a few would be good though because against aggro they are pretty handy, so maybe a few would be nice. I really think you should get a few scavenging oozes in there so try to pick them up. :)

you have to keep in mind this is a deck for casual, and in the right scenario sage of hours can be really fun. lets look at a scenario where its completely broken. turn 1 death shadow which immediatly goes to the yard, turn 2 sage of hours, turn 3 varolz the scar striped, turn 4 corpse jack turn 5 scavenge for 26 counters, i know this is very conditional but with this deck crazy shit like that always happens. also the interactions with mimeoplasm, lets look at another scenario. turn 1 death shadow, turn 2 lotleth troll, turn 3 vorel, turn 4 corpsejack, discard sage of hours, play mimeoplasm copying sage of hours and getting 26 +1 counters. then turn six you can quadruple the counters with vorel/corpsejack combo and take over 20 turns. the deck has pretty reliably pulled shit like that off in a casual setting

Okay, I see what you are doing, but I think maybe another varolz would help this deck a lot. :)

I'm surprised there is only one Corpsejack in here. With the reliance of +1/+1 counters it's perfect. Another interesting interaction you may not be aware of it if you have Corpsejack out, using a spell such as Bioshift will cause a double amount of counters being shifted.

oh believe me i'm aware:) i guess the reason there is only 1 is because if i really need him i can easily tutor him with jarad's orders, its kind of slow sometimes to wait to play the corpsejack until you start getting you're counters. i do have a second corpsejack in the sideboard though
