Deck Description

Multiplayer Budget Series!!! Do you want to create new and fun decks when you get together with your friends? Do you want to make killer decks, that aren't lame, all at a cost of $30 (this one goes slightly over but cutting the lands will get you under $30) or less? Well this is your place for multiplayer budget decks!

This is an artifact based deck with each Artifact having a specific role!

How to Play

Key card in the deck is Esperzoa. Its a pretty cool flyer thats cheap and a 4/3, it's "draw back" in this deck is a strength--return artifact to your hand. The Contagion Clasp & Engine benefit by placing counters on their creatures. The Everflowing Chalice can be returned so it can be recast larger. The prophetic prism draws you a card, and gives you a blue mana (or black for Vault Skirge), if you don't have an island. Spine of Ish Sah...duh!

Not only that but your Etherium Sculptor makes the stuff even easier to cast, and once a few are out, in some cases you can cast things back for free! Plus he will also allow you to cast some of your more expensive artifacts earlier.

Golem Artisan makes use of all that extra mana your going to be getting once your deck gets rolling. Especially giving haste to your Juggernaut or Altar.

The unwinding clock lets you clasp again, or untap your Altar, or simply untap all your creatures so they can block.

Fabricate gives is an awesome tutor to grab any card your little heart may need or desire.

The Silent Arbiter works best attacking with one of your creatures and buffing him with your Golem Artisan. Or it can be returned to your hand if needed by Esperoza, then simply recast if needed again. It also is a great defensive stopper against any massive creature decks.

And finally don't forget about your buried ruin when you need to bring any of your cards back!

* Verdalken Archmage? Should be budget enough and provides serious amounts of free card draw.

* Prophetic Prism - what for? If you just want to abuse the card draw when you bounce it, Ichor Wellspring is the better alternative.

* Thirst for Knowledge might be an alternative for Fabricate. It doesn't search for a specific artifact but it is card advantage. You said this is for multiplayer, so ... having a longer breath might be more useful than putting all your eggs in one basket.

* Talking of multiplayer, someone WILL have mass artifact destruction. I'd like to see something like Drafna's Restoration in this or at least Hurkyl's Recall type of card to save your day.

* A budget fun card for artifact decks I had great success with is Arcbound Crusher. He would be huge enough if it just counted your artifacts but it gets counters for your opponent's ones, too! Moreover, that modular comes in handy. If you aim for multiplayer, you have to be careful with your resources.

* I am not sold on that Vault Skirge! While I understand your desire for some lifegain, I'd prefer Loxodon Warhammer in that slot. As an equipment, it is reuseable, which, again, is important for multiplayer.

Solid advice for sure, thank you! The suggestions added a few dollars to the price, but I'm not going to sweat it.
