Deck Description

Your basic Jund Zombies. I am planning on taking this deck, now that it has been more completed, to Grand Prix Miami any and all suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

How to Play

Start fast with w/e creatures you have, Lotleth Troll can grow from discarding a Gravecrawler for no loss at all. Burn and destroy their stuff out of your way and attack. Finishers like Desecration Demon, Falkenrath Aristocrat, Rakdos's Return, and Bonfire of the Damned help a lot turn 4 or 5 to finish before turn 7 (after which this deck burns out and doesn't do so hot. Lots of fun in the sideboard for control decks, Appetite for Brains, Glaring Spotlight and another Liliana of the Veil. Desecration Demon works very very well against a lot of decks currently being used, it is the biggest / fastest flyer out there and creates some real panic in your opponents, it is also relatively difficult to deal with for a lot of red decks and most decks now are either running red or are control and either way he can mess them up. We have the Knight of Infamy for anything with white in it ( I usually drop a Blood Scriviner if it is humans or a Dreg Mangler if they are control). Pillar of flame x 4 is for Voice of Resurgence mostly but also the occasional Hounds of Griselbrand etc. when facing double strike Gruul. They also work well in the mirror against Geralf's Messengers and Grave Crawlers. Don't forget that you can use Falkenrath Aristocrat on a Geralf's Messenger to win games after they miscalculate and go down to 1 or 2 thinking they have it next turn (happens more than I thought it would). Nighthawk is there for a lot of the weenie decks out there it can generally block or keep them from attacking or can attack all out and keep their attacks from having such an impact (though it isn't fast enough for main deck IMO).

Deck discussion for Jund Zombies (type 2)

I went to the pro tour qualifier in my area with this deck (-3 cavern of souls and bonfire and +3 swamp and a kessig wolf run, just because i didnt have access to the caverns or bonfire) and i got 2nd. and leading up to the top 8 i beat the guy who i lost to in the final so i feel pretty good about this deck.

This deck is now in its final form and I plan to take it to Grandprix Miami. If anyone has anything to suggest please please do and explain yourself I really would like to do well (obviously) this is my first grandprix though I've been playing since I was 8.
