Deck Description

BUG Infect is my personal favorite flavor for infect. Green gives strength and protection, Blue gives unblockablility and protection, and Black gives kill power and protection.

How to Play

I know the temptation is strong to play that turn 1 Elf because of the multiple turn 2 wins out there following that elf, but you can't risk it, not game 1 a least. A game 1 turn 1 Elf is a dead elf. I've even lost him to a gut shot, quite demoralizing.

Play your Creatures once you can protect them via Undying Evil, Blossoming Defense, or Turn Aside. You can also Flash them in on your opponent's turn with Savage Summoning for some make shift haste or just use Swiftfoot Boots...that one hurts them bad, an unblockable untargetable infect creature with haste... Yikes! The most Ideal play would be to put down Swiftfoot Boots on 2, pass on 3 then flash in an elfor on their end step with a Turn Aside ready to defend. Then attach the boots on your turn (not for the haste but the hexproof) then play a Distortion Strike and Swing. Weather whatever they play next, maybe kill it with a Doom Blade. Your next turn you rebound Distortion Strike to your elf who is currently sitting on 3 power and they've got 3 poison counters, pump with anything and kill.

Post side board games are almost always in the bag.
Wall of Tanglecord, the extra Crusaders, and Fog are all for burn decks because Burn is the number 1 threat to infect because of the plentiful creature kills and blocking isn't really something you should do as an infect player. You must be the aggressor. With burn, you drop 1 wall and you wiont have to worry about wasting your infect on blocking or 1 Crusader and it's game over.
Nature's Claim fixes nuisances.
Defense Grid and Savage Summoning shuts down coneroli decks.
Vampiric Link is the best turn down to anything big and scarey.
If you realize they haven't got a 1 Mana removal then game 2 is fast because you can drop that turn 1 Elf and start pumping and swinging right away.
