I didn't want the deck to fail by trying to accomplish too much, so I made it with more focus on Heartless Summoning and Birthing Pods added in that take advantage of a good curve. By adding white to the usual B/G deck, I gain access to Enlightened Tutor, O-Ring, Resto Angel (to abuse ETB, hello Thragtusk), and Elesh Norn as a finisher. Tutor is nice as it can fetch both HS and Pod, whichever I need, as well as Lightning Greaves and O-Ring if I need them. Phyrexian Metamorph as a 1-of is just a cherry on top. It can copy late bomb ETB effects as well as be a potentially 1-mana clone with a HS out. Not to mention it grabs Solemn Simulacrum if I need a fix badly, or Wurmcoil as a finisher. It sacrifices a card to ensure my next top deck is what I want.
