yea the changes have made an epic difference! i played my friend this morning and instead of killing him early on we decided to just play it out too see what would happen.... on the last turn i popped garruk, played 4 primal bellows on a 9/9 hydra(due to oran-rief) and 3 giant growths on him then double stampeded..... we calculated the total bonus damage without and of the creatures base dmg i.e. hydra's base damage is 8... and the total bonus damage was 4320 dmg! i killed him practically 432 times! lol

i'm sure it could be done, and red certainly has many ways to make it similar to the 'frame' of a usable 10L deck.

about your deck, i can try to look at it, but i am honestly a bit of an old-school player, and am not much help on standard. still, i will give what advice i can :)

in my opinion cultivate is better then harrow but other than that this looks like a sweet over powered deck!

harrow is better for stompy because it gives you 2 UNTAPPED lands at instant speed!

if you are running a single color deck you dont need misty rainforest, in a deck with so much mana gain you would maybe need a cultivate or 2. also, if you want to speed up the deck a bit past turn 3 you could replace a llanowar elves with Rofellos, Llanowar Emissary. I have a feeling this deck would be a pretty fast way to dish out heavy trample damage, have you thought about adding a Vigor in as a last ditch effort?

Check out my stompy deck, nowhere near as fast as yours starting off, but after turn 3 it starts piledriving: http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=190487

You my friend obviously lack the understanding of what is so good about fetchlands. If you have them, there is no reason not run them in a mono deck. I would even run another Misty Rainforest, not just 3.

Harrow scares me. If it gets countered you're actually down a land rather than up.

god damn vengevine, every deck that i like always has him and makes the deck too out of my price range. Any suggestions on a cheap obviously less effective replacement?

i hate green stomp as an archetype, it usually just gets blown out of the water by many of the most popular counterspells, decent build however, definately replace harrows with growth spasm or cultivate because losing a land to a spell pierce is not the position you want to be in, i'd also look into fitting fauna shaman in, possibly over garruk's companion, just as a way to tutor for your big creatures because the main problem i've noticed with stomp is ramping yourself to 10 mana and sitting there like a fool as you have nothing to do with it, fauna shaman also allows you to add in 1 ofs like wolfbriar elemental or acidic slime to grab as needed, and makes the deck so much more coonsistent.

Welll....
1st off green stomp is redundant, stompy by definition can be only green.

2nd harrow is so much more stompyish than cultivate or growth spasm. 2 lands into play untapped the very same turn? thats just awesome, there is always the off chance that your harrow gets countered and you lose a land, the good side to that is that they just wasted a counterspell on something other than your continuing mass of creatures and pretty much just signed a death warrant.

3rd fauna shaman? not a chance in this deck, it just doesn't fit it well enough. i do think that fauna shaman is great in some decks but not this one, especially over garruk's companion?! garruks companion is IMO more useful than leatherback baloth for his trample alone.

4th you have obviously never faced a good stompy deck. I've won games with my BoP alone(when i get none of my "finisher" creatures) due to my pumps. this is considered a pump stompy one that is more concerned with getting out a few creatures fast and hitting them hard with numerous pumps. as opposed to a creature stomp which is focused more on tons of nice sized creatures killing the opponent, fauna shaman might be more effective in one of those.
