I have always loved combo-decks in Magic, and always wanted to create my own homebrew combo-deck.Painter's Servant and Mind Bend is quite broken so I decided to make a deck out of these two cards.
The idea of the deck is to lock your opponent and win with Gideon and/or Kiora.So how is this done?Creature-lock:1. Play Painter's Servant name "Red".2. Play Wrath of Marit Lage3. (optional) Play Orb of Dreams to make all creatures enter tappedLand-lock:1. Play Choke2. Play Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth3. Play Mind Bend to change the text of Choke to Swamp4. (optional) Play Orb of Dreams to prevent lands from entering untappedWin condition:Either:Pump Gideon to a certain level and beat your opponent with him. Since he is not a creature at the untap step he will untap normally even though you have the creature-lock.Or:Ultimate Kiora and hit your opponent with three 8/8. Prophet of Kruphix will help you untap your own permanents, including the octupus.
