Deck Description

A deck that ramps up energy counters using both puzzleknots and energy dorks (sage/servant of the conduit) to build enough energy to trigger an aetherworks marvel to potentially cast an emrakul/ulamog for "free" from the library without paying its mana costs.

How to Play

Mulligan until you get sufficient aether producers (aether hub, puzzleknot, attune with aether, etc.) and then ramp up energy as quick as possible until you draw into an aetherworks marvel. Then use said marvel to play a free emrakul or something big. Stall or hold off the opponent with wurmcoil if you can cast it.

Deck discussion for Hunting for Emrakul

Firstly, a Description would be useful, helps people to give appropriate advice / suggestions.

Now onto a few card choices I don't quite understand:
> Treasure Mage: This can only fetch Wurmcoil Engine as the Eldrazi are not artifacts, and Aetherworks Marvel & and the Puzzleknots cost less than 6.
> Sanctum of Ugin: You're not ramping into the Eldrazi, so this doesn't help much.
> Both the above: Aetherworks Marvel only casts the cards from the library, not the hand. Why include stuff that puts hard to cast things into your hand?

You are right about Treasure Mage, it didn't quite fit the strategy. I replaced it with fauna shaman instead because it will help tutor for an energy dork to activate marvel. So to your point, if i had an emrakul or ulamog in hand i could discard one of them with fauna shaman, search for a sage or servant for energy, and then build up energy to active aetherworks. There's enough energy producers to pop it and there will undoubtedly be another emrakul/ulamog/wurmcoil somewhere which can be cast from the library-not the hand.

So that's my reasoning.

And correct me if I'm wrong but i'm pretty sure Sanctum will still trigger if a colorless 7 drop or higher is cast from the library and not the hand. It is still being cast.

BTW I haven't yet played this deck, so I have no idea how it would hold up in a match.
