Pretty good play thru, but the land part of normal decks run around 24 lands is on the high side in my opinion. I almost have no decks that run 24 lands because it's such a high concentration. (In my opinion of course) 20-21 land is normal, any higher than that means you want to draw alot of land in a game (which is fine depending on the deck). I think the ratio goes 20-22 Normalover 22 is excessive (not meaning you shouldnt play that, it's just above average in my opinion)under 20 means you have mana ramp or all low cost spellsMost decks I run over 20-22 land I draw it too much when I need more important cards

indestructibility would be a good add, throw it on palisade giant
Any of the swords work too well with doublestrike, it activates the swords ability twice when they hit.Sword of fire and iceSword of light and shadowSword of body and mindSword of feast and famineSword of war and peaceAlso puresteel paladin is pretty nice =pIf you need any ideas check out my doublestrike equipment deck..http://www.mtgvault.com/chewrida/decks/doublestrike-and-swords/
You land base is really messed up, the majority of your lands make you return another one to your hand and enter the battlefield tapped. That's really inefficient and it will slow the deck down. If you wanna have the best land base for this kinda deck is:4 Urza's Powerplant4 Urza's Tower4 Urza's Mine4 Cloudpost4 VesuvaKeep the Eldrazi Temples, those are good, And to speed up the land process with that run 4 Expedition Map.Doubling Cube might be a nice addition too.BTW did you notice you have 8 Ulamogs Crushers?Hand of Emrakul is a horrible card unless you have more than 2 ways to get eldrazi spawns to cast it.
Karrthus might not be a bad idea, you can even hard cast him if needed since you have abundant growths =p
It looks really good now :)
Yea but only running one is very very inconsistent, he would barely ever draw it, he would have to run like ruinscar demon to make up for it, running 3 is fine, hell still drop out several dragons on average, enough to kill someone
Mean looking for standard, too bad utvara cost 8, such a high price to pay without mana ramp ya know?
:) nice, could I suggest a overgrowth with arbor elf to hit that 10 mana Quickly
Take out auriok edgewright and add in knight exemplar, Everything in your deck is a knight other than auriok edgewright, so you might as well ditch him for something that makes all your knights indestructible =p Not to mention he'd give you a target to soulbond with that wouldnt be a waste since he doesnt have doublestrike.
Yea you can make a dragon deck in legacy that's not dragon storm but no dragon deck can compare to a Dstorm deck, but sure demon I'm interested in your legacy dragon deck without Dstorm, I have no doubt you can make it nasty. Haha and Dstorm decks have made me sour towards them :p my friend has a vintage Dstorm deck that wins with the first 2 turns on average, horrible deck to try and beat haha forced me to make a deck that can win with in 3 turns average to face it or there's no point haha
If he is gonna do legacy there is no reason he would build it like that, generally the only legacy dragon deck worth building is dragonstorm, no other dragon decks can come close to that and thats a 100% different way to do things. Adding blue is a great idea if he were to go that route he could keep it standard but run draws and counters to keep his early game running well and shut the opponent down. not to mention my opinion of call to the kindred keeps it standard and runs a serious threat in the early/mid game range. Keeping it red tho is fine as well, straight aggro is mean as it gets and it runs better consistency. Mono red just gives him the option of burns instead of counters, just as mean if used correctly. And thanks to a few new cards red has a decent draw theme to it now, granted discarding is involved, but that's the price ya gotta pay sometimes.
Alot of big decks do that tho, show and tell decks usually only have show and tell for a win factor, same thing for dragonstorm decks and ect... You just gotta make sure you can beat them first or have a way to prevent them from stopping your one win combo.
No doubt, well you should totally add in some infernal plunge, sac the dragon egg for mana, get another dragon and probably play a dragon like valkas or archwing
If you happen to splash blue into it, since they made such a cheap dragon the hatching, slumbering, and the egg, you could easily put in a playset of call to the kindred, and drop out one every turn pretty much guarenteed for free, not to mention, if you put it on something weak and unnoticable like the hatching or the egg, they'd have to waste a kill spell on that instead on something serious like valkas, haha and if they kill the egg you still get another dragon =p
They banned second sunrise from modern =/
Have you got to run this deck in real life? I'm interested in how this does, long matches? or does it end quicker than I think it will? It def. looks like a good deck and a bitch to face, just wanna know how it runs and how long it takes to win generally
Try adding dark ritual to speed up your strategy, I love the bronze bombshell idea meann
haha naw i'll still put it together, just trying to be courteous about me using the idea. I'm gonna throw a completely different spin on it tho, other than the infinite combo part, kinda gotta use that. I'm gonna make it legacy legal =p
This is... AWESOME, would you mind if I use this combo for an idea of my own? =]
