Deck Description

Five color deck with a lot of flexibility, very fun to play, can usually get rolling around turn 4. Very fun cards to overwhelm your opponents. Deck revolves around maelstrom archangels to get your mana heavy cards on the field for free. prismatic omens, and mana reflector make sure you have all the lands you need. Combo the lands with legacy weapon and remove multiple cards a turn (including lands). Sen triplets then free cast/hardcast opponents spells with all your mana/ maelstrom. Insanely fun deck. The core components are reliably out turn 4/5. The Extra components are varied enough that every match you play you win in a variety of fun ways, with a variety of fun combos.

I encourage any and all feed-back. This is my most played deck and has been tried and true over many years going through many iterations, becoming the beast it is today. In my group of friends this is one my most feared decks.

-EDIT- took the advice and swapped out the panoramas for evolving wilds and terramorphic expanse.

ALSO- toying with the idea of taking out the blue, green, and red, bringers adding in the green, black, and red titans, throwing in the fist of the suns (and possibly the noble hierarch's) that others below have suggested, and finally wild pair to get multiple titans out at once (or maelstrom angels). Let me know what you guys think in the comments

How to Play

Make sure you have a forest in your starting hand, and ideally a maelstrom archangel and a prismatic omen/channel of suns. Turn 4 Channel and play maelstrom and start casting all your high-mana cards fo' free.

Multiple Win conditions:
-Flat out beatdown with overpowering creatures , with relative safety with Spirit of resistince.
-Turn 4 Maelstrom Archangel, Turn 5 Play prismatic Omen, Attack and free cast coalition Victory from your hand
-Door to nothingness, with mana reflectors/prismatic omens to make sure you have the mana.

Chromatic Lantern

Definitely a solid choice

chromatic lantern doesn't work with coalition victory like prismatic omens does. It's a good choice but I like prismatic better for overall utility in this deck.

Shard Convergence can help pull out the lands you need. and if you have shock lands, you get all 5.

That is a very good card and i am gonna look into sticking that in here somewhere. thank you very much for that... love the alara block, never saw this card haha

Swap out the Panormas for Terramorphic Expanse and Evolving Wilds, they can be used the turn they drop, and they don't have the restrictions on what land they grab. Plus you have 8 Panoramas, so 4 wilds and expanse is an even swap

The thing about that is prismatic omens turns those panoramas into every land type, and since they have an ability to tap for mana (which the wilds and expanse don't) when i get prismatic omen on the field they become every land effectively adding more mana to my pool/ letting me hard-cast things faster or exile bunches with legacy weapon.

Prismatic Omen affects the Expanses and Wilds same as the panoramas

If a land is a basic land it, without saying, taps for it's own color. There doesn't need to be a tap ability.

Not so much a fan of the Sen Triplets, maybe some other beefy creature since you can play it for free anyway? Empyrial Archangel could be a fun card, and keeps with the Alara theme of the deck. Giant adephage is pretty fun too, and cheap to boot

I see what you are saying but they add so much flavor and entertainment out of this deck, the fact it's multicolor with tons of mana doublers, on top of the maelstrom archangels putting things out for free, I like them in there. When they come out you will have a blast playing them. So I think for entertainment alone I'll keep them in, also when they do get out they are pretty damn annoying. Giant adephage however...

Asceticism is always good in big creature decks. Especially old creatures.

I am toying with the idea of Asceticism... The fact that the creatures are not my only win condition and when the deck gets rolling it gets rolling incredibly fast regardless of the maelstrom archangels (which more or less open the floodgates of the deck). Maybe take out Obelisk of alara and something else for that?

Fist of Suns? Turns all your spells into 5 colorless with prismatic omen

Fist of the suns wouldn't work as well in this iteration of the deck (with more then half the creatures already costing the 5 mana). However I take all advice seriously and you inspired another iteration of the deck; one where i replace the bringers with the red green and black titans, and throw in fist of the suns and wildpair. let me know what you think of that?

this is a great deck but theirs no creatures to play till turn 4 Noble Hierarch would help get some mana faster and it can be out on turn one

That's a great recommendation Cook, however as it stands in this iteration turn 4 seems like a long time but considering how fast this deck gets rolling when it hits turn 4 (and reliably) combined with things like spirit of resistance and it doesn't really matter what happens those first turns. However like i said above i take all recommendations seriously and I think Noble Hierarch has a very nice fit in the iteration I suggested above. One where I swap the Blue, Green, and Red, Bringers for the Black, Red, and Green Titans. And add Fist of the Suns and wild pair. Let me know what you think about that?

that sounds like an awesome deck idea i use Primeval Titan in allot of decks for mana ramp

actually I've been working on a mono blue Leviathan deck any ideas for some mana ramp

Blue mana ramp is rough to pull off. You have Quest for Ula's Temple in there right?

no i did not thank you

Also blue has quite a bit of ways to cheat cards into the battlefield, look around I am sure you could find a bunch of unique ways to make up for the lack of mana ramp (i am dealing with this too as I try to make a mono blue deck with expensive cards)

I´d highly recommend 'Crystal Quarry' for your Rainbow deck. Maybe more mana makers - looks like a ton of fun
(sorry 'bout the rhimes, not intended)

oh they are definitely intended, honestly mana isn't an issue. It reliably gets out turn 4 and more then makes up for those first few turns of sitting around by snowballing crazy out of control

u cant do much until turn 4 and a lot can happen in 4 turns
I would use some elves to speed up the deck and block, or I saw some green land that's also a 1/1 creature
you could also use counter spells or burn spells early on
