Most of the creatures are too expensive and I agree with Magicka on the mana curve; maybe add Force Spike for a turn one counter or so, or Hedron Crab, which makes for an agreeable defender and mill card;

Also don't see the purpose of Psychic Drain and Liliana Vess; there are cheaper options (add some mind funerals?) and how are you gonna defend against quick creature decks??

Milling is fun (imo), but quick creature decks usually do a faster job killing you than you milling their deck, so you'd probably be well off with some more defenders and control spells

Don't really see the point of the combo; just a waste of cards that should be swapped for more effective ones; besides, the combo costs too much mana! You're probably dead or on top of your opponent by the time.

Besides, one counterspell and ur combo is laid to waste.. try white and blue or something (or black) for combo decks; not slivers

I like ur deck;

too many 4 mana creatures though; Mind Control is useless and way too expensive; as are Cancel and Faerie Trickery (there are plenty of cheap, effective blue counters)

Get rid of the 4 mana creatures, they slow ur deck down too much
Sower of Temptation is also quite useless against quick creature/token decks; same for Glen Elendra; try replacing them with cheaper creatures (how about some defensive ones?) and counter spells (can never have too many)

I think u may want to think about more ways to take out opponents for this deck than just the Hecatomb; add some artifacts or something to keep opponents busy, until u have enough mana to inflict serious damage

Also try speeding it up a little

I disagree, there is not that much difference between both decks and I like the fact he's picked many different cards, it doesn't really matter, those slivers are gonna hit hard

Either way, although Lava Axe probably costs too much mana it may provide u with a chance to finish off an opponent if ur slivers are bogged down;

I think Boseju makes this deck really dangerous for casual play if u get to live for at least a few turns, maybe consider other counterspells than Pact of Negation and Daring Apprentice

Maybe add a few more counterspells to be on the safe side (vs Winter Orb,......)

Looks like it could pack a punch; maybe Leyline of Lifeforce as a sideboard?? Not much else to say about it except the obvious: Extinct, Wrath of God, ...

Maybe replace Spell Pierce by Force Spike?? Also not sure ur gonna be able to "ping" opponents; no lightning bolts?? incinerate?????? How about Ball Lightning and creatures like that??

Fire Ball?? Shivan Dragon (say 1 or 2 or something alike to pack a punch, add some versatility)??

Perhaps too many 1/1, 0/1 creatures, which are pretty vulnerable to shock effects, etc.

Maybe add some more token/breeding cards. Maybe combine with White (got loads of cool breeding cards). Or add some land destruction to make it harder for opponents to build quick(er than you) or counter everything you lay out (blue)

Try adding some depth
