Deck Description

After being a long-time Affinity player(RIP Mox Opal), I've tried all I can to create a Affinity-esque deck in Historic and this here deck is basically my idea of it, because I don't like Tempered Steel decks.

This type of artifact deck follows a similar theme like the Pauper Affinity deck.

Although it's not 100% exactly like it for we don't have Myr Enforcer and Frogmite and we don't have Galvanic Blast, but we do have Embercleave, Steel Overseer, Bomat Couirer, Ravenous Intruder and Fling - and I think we can do some real damage onto our opponents with this beatdown strategy.

Reason why I don't have a Sideboard on this deck is because I usually play Best-of-one so I don't have to deal with annoying decks for longer than one match, lol.

How to Play

This deck is really just a simple aggro deck with some fun combat tricks!

"Strategy"
Play threats, attack, repeat.

"Combat tricks"
#1 Sacrifice all them artifacts to Ravenous Intruder and Fling it onto your opponent.
#2 Attach Embercleave onto Ravenous Intruder and then sacrifice all artifacts to deal massive damage.

Deck discussion for Historic: Flinged Intruder

When it's a one game match, how much time is set of for a game?
And do you play in a tennis bracket or pairings?

There's no timer, you can play forever, until someone scoops or ropes out. I only play Historic over Arena.

Then there must be some crazy control variants :) I remember when you had 56 minutes in legacy. Some of the slower decks held the entire room hostage :)
