the mox isn't as reliable as a land, and it's legendary. Also, with the contested warzones, glint hawk and voltaic keys a few extra land never hurts. I removed 2 lands for 2 accorder paladins

Cool deck mate! If i were you I'd go 4 - 2 on the clasp - engine, giving you a bit better early game

It's not bad but it's not a first turn drop, so not an interesting card for me

I have been using the assassin before but it's kinda slow. And it usually ends up being removed when you have lvled him. For a vampire deck i think faster vampires are better, and the assassin goes well for early controll in a controll deck

Yeah, notices some of those sick combos when i playtested as well, hence why I'm so eager to build a deck like this... Can't seem to find any shop that sells those "Into the breach" decks though...

Thanks mate! Never made this deck though, since it didn't run that well while playtesting. Might add some reassambling skeletons or the beetle for some lands! Playing my mono black vampire deck more, and thought i could make something fun with the red cards i've got.

I might try to build something simular to this for FNM, seeing as the Into the breach covers a lot of these cards (and I don't own any standard cards nowadays). Might be able to buy/trade some other needed cards hopefully. Won't have any fetchlands though...

Ah, I see! Thanks mate, guess you learn something new every day huh ;) I remember when me and my friends started playing mtg (around the release of fifth edition i think). Our deck was 100-200 cards each of cards we thought were cool and the games could go on for hours. Then i picked up 2 goblin kings and made a 60 card goblin deck with 'em and some generals and what not. I won all the tournaments at our school with that deck till they only threw tourneys on the days i called in sick :(

It's called deck-thining. By using arid mesa he will remove 2 cards from the deck but putting only one land to play - making it less likely for him to draw another land in the future.

How on earth are you supposed to get it that betrays out on turn 2 or 3? Provoking discard or hoping for 4 dark ritual?

I'd add birds of paradise. Seeing as you have no first drops and the mana accel would help your high curve. Also: There are some cards simular to the bant sureblade you could add, can't recall their names but some of them should have colours to match this deck, and they work great with knight of new alara.

Also: for some tutoring you might want goblin matron to be able to find the siege gang if you don't draw it in starter hand. first turn: lackey. second turn: lightning bolt their first drop, assault strobe and attack - putting first matron in play, tutoring the siege-gang and then putting it to play as well.

I'd add assault strobe for the turn 2 attack with lackey, letting you drop 2 creatures from hand and still be able to shoot a lightningbolt for cleanup the same turn. Also, assault strobe will work great for the turn 3 attack with piledriver.

Then why don't you use the blinkmoth land? In your description you say it shouldn't be in there

In that case you would even be able to summon a second collusi with shape anew if chalice was used to cast your first

I know the blinkmoth nexus is supposed to be inkmoth... but wouldn't the inkmoth be a good backup if chalice would get destroyed? sacrifice the artifact the land becomes?
