Might try that out, swapping out a RSZ for a gutshot.

Looks pretty good. Only things I would think to try out would be Full Moon's Rise as an answer to board wipes and upping the count of Immerwolf to 4, seems like too good a lord not to have a playset of.

It's pretty much every monoblack reanimator, actually :p But thanks for your insightful comment. We need more of your kind around.

They're the best options for Suicide Black considering Nighthawk, Gatekeeper, Bloodghast, Abyssal Persecutor, and the like are rotating? What would you do better? Constructive criticism means you actually say something constructive as opposed "LOL THIS SUX LOLOL" :P

I second Hidden Gibbons. Adaptive Automaton will make a good pseudo monkey lord as well.

Same here. I'm also a big Liliana Vess fan so I can't wait to see her new incarnation.

Yeah it's gonna lose a lot of great stuff. We can only hope Innistrad will throw a bone to Stompy amongst all the reanimation goodies.

Looking good. I'd add fetchlands if you're not eschewing all of M11 and Zendikar block like I am. They'll serve as fodder for the lavamancer and help with Searing Blaze as well.

I like that idea, plus he'll serve as Lavamancer fodder once he's in the gy. Sided the Myrs in case of Firewalker.

I considered it, but in my past attempts at proliferate decks it's mana cost was always too steep to be effective. Still, with the added green ramp, it might be viable. Something to consider once I actually get to testing the deck out.

Actually to play my deck a few times, and it's a lot of fun. Your suggestion of using the 'Plasm as commander was definitely the best piece of advice I've taken in awhile as the amount of things you can do with him is endless. Copying my gf's Angel of Despair to destroy her commander and then eating a Cloudscraper for the counters was just evil. Getting Bojuka Bog'd sucks hard though. I added stuff specifically to counter the Bog but they also work on other forms of graveyard hate. You may want to do the same if anyone you play against uses bog. I use Voidslime and Time Stop personally. Stifle is good too but I don't have one any more and it's too expensive for me to want to buy.

Counterpunch and Heavenly Inferno were the other two premades I was considering tweaking into Reanimation decks, with Karador and Tariel as generals, respectively. Ended up going with Counterpunch just because I liked Damia so much. Counterpunch definitely seems like the best alternative choice to build a reanimation deck around though, Tariel works better with stuff like Nezumi Graverobber.

Krosan Cloudscraper was going to be my next suggestion. I need to make room for him in my deck.

I was also thinking Diabolic Servitude might work nicely in this deck. Recursive reanimation seems like it'd be invaluable, though having to exile the enchanted creature is a slight downside, since you won't be able to reanimate it again later or use it as Mimeoplasm fodder.

Looking pretty good. I like DoDG in this, he was on my list of possible inclusions and still might make it in as I do more fine tuning.

Will definitely look into your suggestions. I haven't gotten to test the deck at all yet as I'm the only person in my usual play group that has gotten my desired commander prebuilt. There's a distinct lack of Heavenly Inferno and DFP in my area, I guess those are the two most popular atm.

Done and done. Tuned up the sideboard a bit. Unsure of the meta around where I'll be taking this to compete so I tried to cover all the bases I think that might exist after the death of Cawblade. Namely, Vengevine, Valakut, mirror match infect, and Kred. Also dropped Untamed Might in favor of Groundswell.

Cool concept. Would be a lot of fun if you managed to draw that perfect hand.
