Love it for the simple fact that it's a samurai deck. I probably would've built something using samurai if I had been playing during Kamigawa.

Not a far stretch. I'm hoping they eventually add a Specter lord too.

Needs some form of Rampant Growth in order for the Outcast to be effective imo. I'd also add Geosurge and some burn spells to control the field until you can get your dragons out.

I love tempo cards. Have you ever tried Snuff Out? It's one of my favorite tempo spells.

Looks solid. I'd consider Hexmage over Hex Parasite, just because Hexmage deals with threats faster, but since you're doing control the Parasite might work better for you. Praetor's Grasp is another sideboard card to consider especially if you're opponent is running cards that will be helpful for you to steal. Depending on what decks you expect to go up against, Marrowshards is faster than BSZ, which is critical against Kred, but BSZ has recursion and is far more versatile, so it's a toss up.

If you have the fetch lands stick with them, otherwise 22 swamps is fine since I don't think the thinning fetch lands provide is worth their price in a mono-colored deck.

Spell Contortion is a nice touch, fits the theme of the deck perfect.

Lol, I like this just because it's nice to see someone else that's a fan of the female 'walkers. Not sure where you can go with it, but Jor Kadeen can be quite the bomb with all your weenies when he finally gets metalcraft. To that end I'd run some more artifacts just to ensure he gets it faster. Porcelain Legionnaire comes to mind, as well as Memnites. Not sure what to drop for them though.

I like this but I feel it's a tad slow especially with all the aggro around today and it's susceptible to discard as well with no counters. I'd drop the clockspinning for some kind of stall, either defenders or counters. I realize it has synergy with both the Shrine and Chronicler but I just don't like it. Either that or drop a couple Venser's Journals and maybe a Spellbook. I realize they're key to the deck but you should draw into them rather quickly with all your draw and every one after the first is a dead draw, unless you really like to gain crazy life with the journals.

Fair enough, it's not for everyone, the sorcery speed definitely hurts it but I still like to use it. That sucks you couldn't get any Spitfires, while they're not as easy to pump as the Kiln Fiends, the flying and the extra point of toughness make it really nice. I'd sideboard some Slagstorm or Pyroclasm for aggro and weenie decks.

I'd add Kiln Fiend, he's perfect for these kinds of decks. Also, Assault Strobe is worth looking at, when you get a pumped Fiend or Spitfire, Assault Strobe will often be a game ender. This is similar to a mono red Chandra deck that I built:

I'd drop the Obliterators, Child of NIghts, and Sangromancers and add a playset of Kalastria Highborn, Vampire Lacerators, and Vampire Hexmages. Obliterators are nice but don't fit the vampire theme obviously. Hexmages are better than Child of Night by far, unless you're really going for life gain. I'd also add Blade of the Bloodchief, drop the implants for a pair of those maybe. Chancellor of the Dross is gonna be tough to get out with no mana acceleration and only 20 swamp, but you only have one of him so he'd probably rarely show up anyway.

You're a little heavy on removal. I'd sideboard the set of verdict's and either the set of go for the throats or doom blades, then bring them in when you're up against whatever the removal you left in can't target. In their place add Sign in Blood and maybe Dark Tutelage for even more card draw.

Bloodghast is another good addition, though he's pricey, although not anymore pricey than a playset of obliterators. Other cards to think about are Gatekeeper of Malakir, Bloodthrone Vampire (sac the Bloodghast for fuel for Blade of the Bloodchief then bring him back when you drop a land is a nice little combo to pump a creature up). Stabbing Pain to tap potential defenders and get in a nice hit and Virulent Swipe or Vampire's Bite for when your opponent decides to let a hit through. Disfigure is another nice removal spell, as is Urge to Feed but tapping your vampires to pump them isn't always a great idea.

Otherwise, cool deck, good luck with it, hope your friend enjoys it.

Both valid points. I could use another finisher other than a pumped Lich, and I was looking into those, just haven't figured out which I'd wanna use yet. As for being vulnerable until I get my combo out, not much I can do about that other than add some kind of chump blocker, Will-O'-The-Wisp and the like, until I either draw into my combo with arena or tutor my missing pieces. Thanks for the suggestions ^^

Fauna Shaman requires you to discard a creature card, not sac a creature.

As much as I liked Fuel for the Cause when I first saw it, it's really annoying having to leave 4 mana available to cast it. I'd use Stoic Rebuttal instead, especially since it'll easily hit metalcraft with all the artifacts you have.

Also Vedalken Infuser or Thrummingbirds are useful for keeping charges on your tumble magnet/keep adding them to everflowing chalice, unless you feel the Steady Progress and Tezz's Gambits give you enough proliferate. Could also use contagion clasps/engine for a proliferate engine which would also give you some creature removal.

Vedalken Certarch is an alternative to Tumble Magnet as well. More versatility but more prone to removal and requires metalcraft to do his thing.

I'd sideboard some Turn Aside in case of someone sideboarding artifact removal against you.

Haven't really played Kred, but Rally the Forces seems like something to consider adding. It's Bushwacker with first strike instead of haste and without the added body.

You need a more consistent manabase, maybe more moxes of other types? Also you need a way to combat something like Nevinyrral's Disk which will hit you like a Jokulhaups.
