Deck Description

Even the ugly step children need love too.

Feel like, Leveler and Eater of days are pretty good. Phyrexian dreadnought is of course the best but, at $25 price tag each, and it being an old card that isnt modern legal make it a big NO.

This is a cool deck, very creative. Looks quick, too.

Also some cards to give your artifacts hexproof or shroud would be nice.

Added lightning greaves.

I'd be tempted to run world slayer and swap out the darksteel myr for darksteel plate

The opal is a waste as you only run blue. I'd look at Sol Ring or Metalworker

Ummm, why would i ever use sol ring? Its banned or restricted in like everything, and would only be good for casual, not to mention the $20 price tag. Metal worker is okay, but would slow this down in my opinion, sinice opal is 0 to play. I also dont see why i would put world slayer in, i was concidering argentum armor for removal.

However, myr for plates is good idea, might do that, also thanks for the comment, i'll check out your decks too.

Cause world slayer on an indestructable creature is a lockdown. You attack every round and everything except your creature and worldslayer is gone. Very hard to get past it. Even on a 1/1 can keep them locked down. Very hard to kill something indestructable with one mana. If you can get the forge out then only your opponent is affected.

The armour will wittle them down eventually but they will solve the problem or die before then usually

I've made a deck like a month ago which use indestructibles and worldslayer, i know how it works.

Its just i would have to wait until i get the one 9 drop darksteel forge (which is a plan B) in the deck down on the field and then put the one 5 drop worldslayer down and pay 5 more to equip it to an already 10/10 indestructible or a 9/8 flying indestructible with trample.

So you think i should slow the deck down even more for some plan C idea. When plan A is damn good?

Phyrexian Dreadnoughts isn't 30 dollars you can get them for 13 or 14 on TCGplayer. Here:

I was over exaggerating. Its more like $20, because with shipping cost. And i will never buy something online unless its mint/near mint. Because im not a fan of getting ripped off.

I would add more instants to play while eater of worlds is skipping your turns. Maybe sleep or frost breath to stall attacks during that waiting time

Turns wont be skipped. Thats what torpor orb is for. And fabricate to fetch it

Dont cast leveler or eater until orb is down. Use darksteel myr for protection, but this deck is fast so it might not even be needed

I would say to swap the cancels in your sidebaord for stoic rebuttal instead, seeing as how you are going to have lots of artifacts out. Does the same thing for UU instead of 1UU, with metalcraft.

Also want to put spellskite in the main deck. What do you think?

0
Posted 21 June 2012 at 04:43

Okay, so 1x spellskite for 1x darksteel myr. Spellskite is so cool like a defender that gives out hexproof all in one.

yeah. it is great. I realy like spellskite. I thought about it, and you can use it to keep your creatures safe, and keep youre opponents from [um[ing their own creatures as well.

Nice build, I like it. I run a similar deck but using urza tron.. Prob not as consistent as your deck, but much more explosive.

Urza lands are so amazing. It always baffles me that they where ever printed. Haha. but im glad u like my deck.

im actually working on a torpor orb deck too, but i really like the idea of splashing black for haunted horror and some more removal. i do like the deck though, five stars, two thumbs, whatever =]. you might think about two trick binds, just incase they respond to your eater with a crush or the m13 smelt.

0

Yeah, thats why i had lightning greaves, for shroud. i also sideboarded trickbinds too. Split second is a cool ability, althought i think it might be pointless since i dont really play against advance players that try to counter everything. Haha. I'd like to see your deck too. Let me kno wwhen u finish it.

Mycosynth Golem could work in here check it out

0

Whaaa? I dont see why i would add golem in here. I already have engineer and sculptor for already low mana cost cards. So affinity isnt necessary. And for an 11 drop, even with affinity, he isnt exactlly a power house. No im certain he not right for this deck. But i appreciate the comment and i'd be glad to check some of ur decks out.

nice, seems simple enough, and surprisingly cheap! i imagine it could be good to accelerate your mana though. have you thought of anything that could do that and fit well here?

Have you considered making it U/R and using Nova Chaser and Vexing Devil? You could also throw in Hunted Phantasms and make it less dependent on artifacts.
