An idea based around Elves that can make a lot of mana and Torment of Hailfire
The main idea is to equip Veridian Joiner or Marwyn with Umbral Mantle, then use the Mana ability and the equipment's untap effect to get "infinite" mana through untapping and the power boost, then use that extra mana on the {X} on Torment of Hailfire.Ancient Stirrings helps find the Mantle and lands that can pay for Torment's {B}{B}.Elvish Archdruid can also make infinite mana, provided there's enough other elves.Joraga Warcaller is a backup mana dump for the infinite mana.
