Deck Description

My first attempt at a actual deck that's fullest intent is to wreck the opponent quickly, efficiently, and indefinitely. However, no idea if it's in a good spot as of right now. I would like to see the price of the deck not to exceed $200 and to stay almost all minotaurs considering they're pretty badass. I own a Cavern of Souls, Mana Confluence, and Door of Destinies, so that cost is not accounted for in the final price. Though the rest of the cards either I have too few of or none at all (like the temples).

So, like I said, throw tips at me, suggestions, anything to help!

How to Play

I've yet to test it but I envision a lot of punching, death, and more punching.

Deck discussion for Destroy Them!

i would change out searing blood for crackling doom. it'll still do your two damage and guaranties that a creature will be killed unless the card is counted. also I would change out your artifact for Doors of Destiny it does the same thing except say if you had two Minotaurs out and one died the one that is alive would still have +2/+2 and its one less to summon

Good point on the Doors of Destiny, I had thought about it but wasn't sure if I should put it in. Definitely put that in. Same with Crackling doom, didn't even know that card existed and definitely is a strong card for its cost. Any more suggestions? This is my first attempt at a somewhat try-hard deck so any feedback is nice.

idk if you know about the combo with boros reckoner and the boros charm. but if you give boros reckoner indestructible with the charm and give him life link. then deal any amount of damage to him and because of his ability if you just keep redirecting the the damage to itself you'll gain as much life as you want because he is indestructible and life link.so say if you used flame slash on him then after you gain all the life you want you can redirect the 4 damage to any creature or player

i like the scry lands as well. i have a minotaur deck and by having scry lands it will make your deck way better. also if you don't want to have whip of erebos you can add a couple cruel feedings it will give a creature 1/0 and life link for 1 swamp if you want to do the boros combo

I've never heard or even thought about that combo before... That sounds like something that should be present in the deck to add a little spice to it. The hopelessness after your opponent gains 1 million life and no way in hell you could win. Not sure what I would swap out for it though, that's the only problem.

Yeah you dont even really have to take any cards out like if your running like 62-65 cards your deck will still be good .mine i run 65 and have no scry lands and it does pretty good, but your running scry lands so it should still work really good. but that's up to

id also for a side board card a set of Gnarled Scarhide. if you have a ragemonger out Gnarled Scarhide is free to summon

For Gnarled Scarhide, i'm not sure what I'd replace. Maybe fate forgotten or shattering blow would be my guess.
But I can't just add a card to my deck, I would have to swap it out if you're going by the rules otherwise it's cheating.

its not cheating the rules are you just have to have a minimum of 60 cards
and there is no max deck size just as long as you can shuffle

I mean, between rounds. You can't add cards into your deck. If you have say 10002 cards in your deck and you switch 15 of them out from your sideboard, you must have 10002 cards in your library, no more, no less.

I would recommend Cavern of Souls... but it is wayy too expensive... So my suggestion would be Mana Confluence if you can afford the $10 per card.

Land bases are kinda my thing. I like multicolor decks lol

Agreed with the Cavern on both points, way better but way pricier. City of Brass would be better since it's the same as Confluence but isn't standard legal which puts it's value around 3.50. I'm assuming this is to remain modern legal? If not add Didgeridoo.

Luckily I own one copy of Cavern AND Confluence. Definitely adding those in.

Yea I would play test that now to find out kinks. If you want to make it cheaper than some lands could be swapped and Boros Reckoner could change to anything else uou have there to 3x or 4x.

There is probably a cheaper version of Go for the Throat.

The most expensive card is Door of Destinies but I wouldn't change that unless I was making a budget deck. i might but 1 in for a budget.

I've play tested it on the original version on tappedout.com and it seemed to run pretty well. However, I haven't tried it again after some of the tiny edits that a few people suggested. But if I wanted to test it, from what I'm guessing you meant buy the deck, I wouldn't swap out any of the cards, especially Boros Reckoner. Though he's expensive, he's one of the strongest cards in this deck and allows it to be a roundhouse kick to the decks i'm facing. It COULD change to another card with the same cost but the deck wouldn't run nearly as smooth without it due to its sheer power.

Besides that, thank you for at least commenting.

Yea one mate writes on a piece of paper and but it with a token in a sleeve and plays test it against me and his other mates.

It makes a nice challange but we joke around saying he's cheating. When he is happy, he doesn't play with it again until he gets the actual cards.

I wouldn't really want to change anything to be fair, it's just the total price unless you have some in your collection doing nothing. Then I would definitly get the deck.

I was just making suggestions.
Cheers
