How to Play

I like to play zedruu and irritate people until i get one of my 3 win conditions. it's a really controling deck and usually games last a long hours if someone can't take me out right away.

Deck discussion for Zedruuuuuuu

Hey yo dirty, I has a few questions for ya. I would just ask my local playgroup but I don't want them to know what I am up to, something sinister of course. I have a pretty sick idea for a b/w/r deck and if you can give me some council and tell me if what I am trying to do is correct that would be just great. The first is this, ( I should tell you that I am really trying hard to keep my hand for as long as possible) conjurer's closet + sire of insanity, so what I want to know is when would the sire come back into play? The second question is this and I think is a little bit more complex, memory jar + sire of insanity. This time I am trying to set up the end of my turn so I don't have to discard what could potentially be a grip of 7 or more cards but I am also trying to see if it's possible to wreck other players hands so that they have to discard what they have. Since I would be the active player and the end of my turn would have me working with 2 at end of turn effects I could set up which one happens first so I would discard my new hand via the jar but using the sire to do it, then get my hopefully very large hand that I had to begin with back because I would have no cards to discard that I drew from the jar. I would think that all other players would have to do it in the same order and they would all be left with some cards in their hands as well so I might actually not be able to create as much havoc as I thought I would but I guess that's okay. So the question I thought I had about the jar and the sire actually turned out not to be a question, I think I needed to be able to get it out of my head and down on a form of media so I could work it out but if you think that is not how it works then please let me know. Of course at the beginning of the next players end step I would have to discard my huge hand that I worked really hard to try to save but I am in the process of working on even more ways to keep what I have and for everyone else to be screwed. If you can give me an assist that would be wonderful or if you have any other ideas/thoughts that would go along with this theme that would be helpful as heck.

wow this is a tough one mirraging hands and creatures is always kind of a tough one to do. Most the combos i can think of would be blue stuff so i dont think that helps a lot. You could mimic vat him and put in some stuff to make sac him off for mana and such. A phyrexian tower, or just about any other phyrexian card to keep in out when you want him out and throw him back in whenever. The problem that i'm kind of seeing is the all players discard their hands so. you would probably be better off trying to flicker your hand.. although how you would go about that i have no clue to be honest

Vault is posting very slowly right now, I hit post 2 times because it was not interested in telling me what I was trying to post was already there. So I have come back to edit, sorry.

Well you called it correctly, I am planning on mass draw, discard and mill without using blue. When I get the deck finished and posted I will let you know. It's going to be tough to do, all I can hope is that I have not bitten off more than I can chew.
