Deck Description

a deck that uses conflux to play tendrils of agony for the win. the key to this deck is dream halls, play that as fast as u can, there is some mana ramp to help, and then discard a card to play conflux, search out another conflux and another card, play that conflux by discarding another card and search for the 3rd conflux and another card, play that conflux by discarding another card, to get the forth conflux and another card, play this by discarding another card and get lim-duls vault and yawgmoths tomb, play the tomb by discarding lim-duls vault, then replay all 4 confluxes from your graveyard, then cast tendrils of agony for the win. this combo seems a little tricky but its really simple to achieve. there is some counter and mana ramp to help and search of course. this sis a fantastic deck to wield but wont work unless u know exactly what u r doing, read all the cards involved int he combo carefully before u decide whether u like it or not, and above all enjoy this strange way to win

Deck discussion for call of dante

when i first saw conflux i laughed at its absurdity, only now, a few months later do i finally understand its uses

Hate to rain on your parade, but, Tendrils of Corruption only damages creatures. Unless you have something that gives you victory for life total, you're not going anywhere with this one.

I suggest you keep other alternatives like Brain freeze in your side board just in case you want to spice things up.

If you want to speed things up a bit you could always put in some white mana and play Lost Auramancers to get the enchantment into play quickly.

Other than that a very good deck. +1

i think i know what this does so u play dream hall's and then a conflux and discard a card, then with conflux u take 4 cards and a confux, u do that 4 times but on the last 1 u grab a tendrils of agony then play that to overrun him with like 20 cards so 40 life???? and u are dicarding 1 card every time u play a conflux, just tell me if i got this right please :P i got confused

thats pretty close, i cant grab 5 cards cause i only have a 2 color deck, so i get a conflux and another card every time, but it works out to exactly the same thing, like 40 damage

p.s. its nice to see people still making awesome decks with cards like dark ritual, demonic tutor and such. it seems that most people (at least who i play with in my area) have completely dismissed these cards as ever being made just because they are not t2 or even extended. its also nice to see somebody make a deck that utilizes these cards but does not abuse them.
