How is any top tier deck original? The best decks are copied and tweak slightly and played in the pro tour. there's no real originality in the pro tour there's maybe four decks that performed well in states, Elf Wave, U/W control, U/B control and Koth Red. Those decks are the decks that win so that's what is played. There's no room for originality if you want to win.

you should get four of nighthawk and gatekeeper because they're the best cards in the deck

for a deck to warrant the name of a creature type it would need some sort of kinship or the majority of cards would need to be of that type. this deck has no kinship and only four vampires, one of which is good..

There are maybe two cards in this deck that make up a good vampire deck. Scrape every single creature because none of them are good. Your friend needs vampire nocturnus, vampire nighthawk and gatekeeper of malakir just to name a few key cards in any good vampire deck

Thanks for the ideas, i really like the path to exile combo with the trap but the owl seems a little unreliable since the upkeep step comes before the draw step. If they play enough spells during their turn or just one during my turn, since you discard to seven after your own, the owl won't work.

Liliana works really well with Nocturnus but it even isn't in this deck so it's pointless.
